Sang Wan looked up at him, her eyes brimming with those two words. "Really?"

"Of course it's true!" Shi Fengju nodded seriously, sighing lightly, "These years have not been easy for you, have they?"

Sang Wan was stunned for a moment, then shook her head, "My eldest brother, sister-in-law, and second brother have all been very good to me! I don't care about other idle gossips." Mess with Auntie unless you think your life is too long!

Early the next morning, Shi Fengju went out. After washing up, Sang Wan hurriedly went to serve and greet Mrs. Wang.

After three days, she would officially be considered a member of this family, not a newcomer. As a daughter-in-law, it was proper to serve and set rules in front of her mother-in-law, and she dared not be negligent.

"Thank you, mother-in-law! Everything is fine at my natal home, my elder brother and sister-in-law are also fine!" Sang Wan responded with a smile, quickly stepping forward to support Mrs. Wang's arm to the side hall for breakfast. Sang Wan secretly pondered in her heart, it was odd that her mother-in-law was suddenly so kind to her, probably there was something she needed to say.

Mrs. Wang nodded and hummed, then casually spoke some idle talk. The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law sat down, and Mrs. Wang ordered the maids Xiuchun and Xiuli to serve, telling Sang Wan also to eat without the need to serve her. Sang Wan hurriedly thanked her and let the maids serve.

After a while, they finished breakfast, and Mrs. Wang gestured towards Sang Wan with a smile, "Come, accompany me to sit in the flower hall, have a cup of tea to digest!"

"Yes!" Sang Wan quickly agreed and stepped forward to assist her.

Mrs. Wang then sighed with a smile, "This fragrance I only started drinking the year before last when I always felt my stomach was uncomfortable. It was Fangzi who found this tea for me, saying it was good for the spleen and beneficial for the body, and since then I've always been drinking it! Now I'm used to it!"

Hearing Mrs. Wang praising Gu Fangzi, Sang Wan's palms tightened, a sudden jolt in her heart, she could only accompany it with a smile, "That's cousin's filial piety, mother-in-law, you surely didn't dote on her in vain!"
