"Ha! How would I know you can't withstand scrutiny if I didn't check?"
Adam Jones's face was covered with a harsh coldness.
Elly Campbell clenched the document in her hand tightly, as if struck by a great blow, letting out several bitter, self-mocking chuckles, and forcibly pushed back the tears welling up in her eyes.
"Adam Jones, you really are something."
She flung the document fiercely at Adam Jones and then turned and walked out of the office.
The secretaries in the secretary's office, upon seeing Elly Campbell come out, all showed embarrassed expressions and quickly lowered their heads to work.
"Madam..."
Robert Green opened his mouth, looking at Elly Campbell's eyes that were faintly red, and for a moment did not know what would be right to say.
Even he was bewildered by the president's outrageous moves, surely the madam must have been even more affected.
