"Wow! Damn, this series was freaking amazing girl," I said, still mesmerized with its dramatic ending."
We are both sitting in the living room. Our apartment is not that big, but I love it. It's cozy enough for the two of us.
We just finished watching this series Lylah suggested and I have to agree her taste is quite impeccable.
And the Actor, who played the main lead's best friend, was damn handsome. His eyes were captivating. Although the whole cast was amazing but there was just something about him which kept my eyes focused on him only.
"I know, my choices are damn good, that's why I'm urging you to go on that blind date. Trust me you'll thank me later." Lylah said and started looking at me expectantly.
"No, not gonna happen. I came here for a reason and that is to start my Dance Academy, not for some blind date." I said while rolling my eyes at her.
"Come on girl, live a little. It won't hurt you to have some fun once in a while. You've never had a boyfriend, you've never kissed a guy, you never had a girl's night out or sleepover or went to any trip and you are twenty-fucking-two girl." Lylah said exasperated.
She is right, I've never done anything of these things. Rohan bhaiya always convinced mom and dad to not let me do any of these things, because apparently the outside world is too dangerous for girls. It's a miracle they let me come here or according to them, in Cambridge.
"It doesn't matter Ayla. I don't have time for these things. I just want to focus on my goal. Plus working a part-time shift and studying, while looking for a place for the Academy takes up all my time." I told her.
"Yeah, I guess you are right. Just let me know if you ever change your mind about that date. Okay?" She said and then without giving me a chance to say anything, she continued, "Also, I never asked you, why do you call me Ayla?" she asked me confused.
I smiled. "Because Ayla suits you more than Lylah."
She started laughing and said, "That's the shittiest reason anyone has ever given me. But I like it."
"Good, because even if you didn't, I wasn't gonna stop calling you that." I informed her.
"Yes mam." She said while smiling and then she got up from the couch. "Now I need my beauty sleep and you should do the same. Goodnight Ika."
"Goodnight." And then went into my room.
I shut my bedroom door and checked my Instagram. Nothing new is happening, everything is just the same.
Suddenly an idea clicked in my mind. Let's search for that actor's real name. I open my google and type-
'The Throne of Nightmares' series cast name.
Okay here are the list of the cast member names and the real name of the best friend is, Zane Sterling.
Wow, even his name is captivating.
His Instagram Id is- zanesterling21.
Let's write him a message, it's not like he's gonna read it. Moreover, I SOOO want to say these things, so why not to 'virtual Zane'.
'Hey,
I just finished watching this series called 'The Throne of Nightmares', in which you played the role of 'Ryan' and I just needed to say that you were exhilarating. I'm sure many people would've told you the same, so it doesn't really make a difference, but I just wanted to say that your acting was looking so real that when you were crying, because you thought that your best friend is dead, we (me and Ayla) cried too.
You performed with naturalism and nuance.
You have really nice eyes. They are really enchanting and kept me captivated. If I have to describe your eyes in Bollywood style, then these lines would be perfect for you-
"Aankhon mein teri ajab si ajab si adaayein hai"
Anyways I guess all I'm trying to say is that you were phenomenal and now I should really get back to my studies and finish my assignment which I just remembered.
So, keep shining like the star that you are.
Goodnight.'
And.... sent.
God, how did I forget about my assignment. I have to submit it tomorrow.
After one hour it finished and then I went to bed.
Not even once did I thought that I would get a reply back.
