179: Owen Moreland to come to pick up_4

Amelia Clarke said that Owen Moreland had never truly liked her before.

Even though this was a fact Lily Scott had long realized, a sense of depression still surged uncontrollably in her heart.

She and Owen Moreland were childhood friends, desk mates from kindergarten, a bond that lasted until university.

She slowly came to like him, and then to love him, but after all, she was a girl, too proud to pursue him actively, so she hinted at him both openly and subtly, not knowing if Owen Moreland was simply too old-fashioned to notice or if he noticed but just wasn't interested in her.

Later in university, Owen Moreland didn't have a girlfriend, and she didn't have a boyfriend, so she deliberately accompanied him in and out of class every day, followed him to activities he participated in, and when he played sports, she was there to hand him water and towels.

Over time, she finally got her wish, and everyone thought they were a couple, praising them as a perfect match.
