Mia Moreland and Lynette Moreland left the hospital room and took the elevator downstairs.
Mia thought hard but couldn't figure out why their grandfather wanted to send them away. What could he have to say to Amelia that they couldn't know?
The elevator doors chimed open, and she couldn't hold back, "Big sister, what do you think grandpa is talking to Amelia about?"
Lynette was looking at her phone and without lifting her head, stepped out of the elevator as she said, "What else could it be? He wants Amelia Clarke to leave my brother. Amelia can't have children now, and the doctors have suggested we fulfill grandma's wish to stimulate her recovery. All grandma wants now is to hold a great-grandchild, right?"
