Owen Moreland slowly reduced the speed of the car, turned his head and kissed Amelia Clarke's lips, then quickly refocused his attention on the road conditions.
Amelia Clarke hugged his arm, not wanting to distract him from driving any longer.
Her gaze fell on the coat he was wearing, the one she bought for him the day before, with its deep and upright style that made the man appear even more stable and mountain-like.
"You look really good in this coat," Amelia Clarke said as she toyed with the buttons on the coat, seemingly with a touch of boredom.
Amelia Clarke couldn't help but think that the coat suited Owen Moreland even more, perhaps because she had bought it for him.
Owen Moreland, his right arm being hugged by Amelia Clarke, intertwined his fingers with hers and laughed softly at her comment.
