That time was somewhat intense.
Amelia Clarke straightened her clothes, while the junior nurse from the Blood Collection Centre handed over the blood test results.
The female doctor took a look and said, "Your progesterone and HCG levels are normal, Mrs. Moreland, please relax. I'll go get you some folic acid and medication to help stabilize the pregnancy. Be sure to take them on time when you get back home."
Amelia Clarke smiled, "Thank you, Doctor."
"You're welcome."
Coming out of the hospital, the sunshine was pleasant but the wind was strong and bitingly cold. Owen Moreland, carrying a bag of medicine, tightened the scarf around Amelia's neck, wrapping her up until only a pair of eyes were visible, and then led her by the shoulder towards the parking lot.
The car for the return trip was driven by Benjamin Richardson.
