Chapter 3: Barber Shop Conflict

It was around nine in the morning, and the students, who had slept in, crawled out of bed to grab breakfast at a stall not far from the campus. Those without classes went to the Internet cafe to play. Tang Zheng felt somewhat nostalgic; a few months prior, he would have been among them. He bought two egg-filled pancakes, quickly filled his stomach, and then walked into a barber shop.

It was probably due to being Sunday that the business was booming. Four barbers were busy, with six young ladies waiting on chairs. With Tang Zheng's experience, he could roughly tell from their clothes and conversation that they were first or second-year students.

He sat on the side and picked up a newspaper to kill time. Not even five minutes later, Lu Fan gave him a call.
