Chapter 15: Puss in Boots

Lu Taijiang's trachea was bound by a ribbon, and he was on the verge of suffocation. His mouth was wide open, like a dying, stranded catfish. He tried to tear the ribbon off, but even though his nails scratched and broke the skin on his neck, he was unsuccessful.

The bride took graceful strides forward with her long, beautiful legs towards Lu Taijiang. The ribbon around her neck flowed in the air, gathered, and formed into a large butterfly knot.

Gasping, Lu Taijiang flailed, kicking his legs in disorder, his eyes filled with pleading and fear as he stared at the bride. He didn't want to die.

"If you sell your soul to me, I might spare you," the bride said with a devilish smile, as she kicked Lu Taijiang between his legs.

The unfortunate student's entire face contorted in pain like a crumpled chrysanthemum, swinging in mid-air like a swing.

Lu Taijiang, unable to speak, nodded frantically, not caring about the soul for now, just wanting to survive.
