August 31st.
Morning.
Tang Kai and Wangsa flew from Bangkok to Naypyidaw together. Although it is the capital, due to Naypyidaw's low profile, there are only three flights a day to this destination, which is one-fifth of those to the former capital Yangon.
It would probably take a long time for the tourism industry here to develop.
It wasn't their first visit.
Ever since Ling took over as deputy.
Their business had expanded beyond the Myanmar Economic Zone and had come here twice to survey potential investment projects. However, given Ling's uncertain future back then, they had not set up factories here.
Now.
Ling had suddenly risen to power.
Setting foot on this land.
The two felt a bit more at ease knowing that no one could trouble them at will, unlike before when Ling, as deputy, might not have had much influence if something happened.
Walking out of the airport.
The backward scene remained, forming a stark contrast with Bangkok.
