"Is that so?" Peng Tian's face softened a bit.
"Are you alright?" Qian Jiangyue moved closer to Peng Tian, and the distance between them was now very close.
At this distance, Peng Tian needed only to spread his arms to embrace Qian Jiangyue, he really wanted to do so, really wanted to tell the person in front of him that he was the father he had been searching for, but... doing so would expose his identity, which would bring death.
Peng Tian didn't want the situation to develop in that direction, he wanted to survive, to leave Ghost Town, to live with his son, to make up for those lost years.
"I'm fine." Peng Tian waved his hand and looked away, "By the way, I want to know, what if you never find your dad? Would you regret spending so much time and effort looking for him?"
"Regret?" Qian Jiangyue paused, "I've never thought about that."
