Facing Qian Cangyi's question, Tao Shu pondered for a long time.
The most difficult parts of a dream to remember are the beginning and the end.
Tao Shu's eyes gazed out the window, lost in thought, as if searching along the timeline of memories.
Qian Cangyi did not press him, but waited quietly instead.
The breeze blowing in from outside the window gently tousled the hair of the two men, bringing with it a cool breath of air.
Suddenly, Tao Shu's body violently shuddered, and his pupils contracted, but they quickly returned to normal.
"It was truly a harrowing and painful journey," Tao Shu turned his head to Qian Cangyi and said, his tone filled with hindsight fear.
"What do you mean?" Qian Cangyi didn't quite understand what Tao Shu was trying to express.
Tao Shu took a deep breath, and then with a long sigh, he answered:
"You just asked me about the ending of the dream, I tried to recall it and I remembered the ending."
