"In the legends, the war wasn't described as savagely as you say," Muria said, with a teasing smile on his face.

The Battle of the Serpent in the legends is hardly depicted as brutal. In the various versions of the tale that spread across the lands, there is not a single description of the Deity of Slaughter looking dishevelled in battle, only his formidable courage and fearlessness.

"That is just a beautification by later generations; I am far more clear about the true nature of the war than they are."

"That's true, you were the protagonist of that battle," Muria said, stroking his chin, "so then, was the Giant Serpent sealed at the center of the earth just like in the legends?"

"That part is correct."

"Then take me there now!"
