At the heart of Dark City, the Tower of Darkness stood like a massive black pillar supporting a dense clump of dark clouds overhead that, even amidst the wind and the lightning, remained unshakably imposing, emitting an aura that warned all to keep their distance.


Xue Wang stood at the pinnacle of the Tower of Darkness with his hands clasped behind his back, peering down with a solemn and resolute gaze.


"Report received. Gu Fan was spotted in that small town," Lord Xiong approached, his mere view of Xue Wang's silhouette filling him with unease.


Xue Wang shook his head, "Even though we know that Gu Fan is still in that town, as long as they don't return to their original city, I won't have peace of mind."
