Dally(goddess name) with a surprised face, her eyes seeming to have popped out, said in a shaky voice,

"It can't be him, his soul was injured, he couldn't have recovered so soon right?"

Sara sighed shaking her head saying,

"I don't know which one, I just have feeling."

Soren(god's name) while clenching his fist feeling irritated says,

"If it is him, then we need to find him fast, as you said he was severely injured, he would not have been able to recover his power totally."

Ren(god name) while stroking his chin, said with a smirk on his face.

"If it's not him, then it's a woman that everybody wants, it's decided than old man you check whether he is awakened or not and I'll go gather information about the goddess of life."

Soren meeting his fierce eyes with Ren said,

"Why do you think that we would let you go and look for her? Be thankful that we are letting you attend the meeting, otherwise, a mere low-ranking god would not be able to talk straight to me. "

Ren leaning on the table and with a smirk on his face said 

"Old man I think you should retire, your memory is starting to get fuzzy, you forgot I also hold the same ranking as you now."

"hmph...", Soren said twisting his face sideways.

Clapping her hands together Dally snatched their attention saying,

"Let's not fight over what's not even been confirmed. We'll gather the information together and share it here, nobody will make contact with them before reporting the information here Alright?"

Sara replied in a sarcastic tone.

"Let's just hope nobody goes behind our back."

Hearing this, an angry expression dawned on Dally's face, stomping her leg she said,

"Don't think that I don't understand your remark, how can you say something like this about my Ren"

Standing up Sara started to walk away with her maid at the side, said.

"Don't twist my words to your liking Dally, if that's all then I should get going"

And he got of the room, pacing slowly through the garden, the maid asked with no expression whatever,

"My lady should we look for Lady Ayaa"

"I already know where she is, it's him that I am worried about, they are right, he must be weak right now. I hope he can recover his strength before being discovered."

At the same time in the forest somewhere in India...

As Jay was passing through the forest hoping to find somebody who could help him call for rescue, it had already gotten dark which made it hard to see, on top of that he could hear the noise of animals which didn't exactly sound like wild animal rather the sound was similar to one mutant animal would make, he kept absorbing trees in his way, leaving a trail of dead trees and plants in his path almost making it look like a road was being made where he walked. With each time he absorbed the tree his HP increased and he felt better than before. The land where absorption skill was used had turned completely barren as if no plants could grow there no matter how far time passed.

He kept using the Absorption skill for 9 more times before his MP reached 0 but after his HP reached 100, there was only a change in his experience status.

"What's going on I don't understand, I refilled my HP to full capacity, so why suddenly do I start to feel like all my strength has been drained, I am gonna faint again, I need to find shelter somewhere soon, I can't faint here."

"My MP is 0 does it mean is it the reason that I am feeling this way"

At a distance of a couple of meters, there was a shabby small hut made of wood surrounded by a wire fence right in between the forest. As soon as he noticed the hut, without thinking further he dragged himself to the door. He tried to announce himself while trying to knock on the door, but he lost all his strength and fell hitting the door with his body opening the door as he lost his conscience. When he regained his senses, he was surprised to find himself in a bed inside the hut, it was not big in space, and it looked like there were only two rooms one was a hall and the other was the kitchen and there was a girl sitting beside him facing opposite to him, she seemed to be talking to someone.

"Grandma, why do we need to take care of a person who just barged into our home? he could be one of those villagers who tried to hurt you last time."

"Sheena, you need to learn to show little compassion. Not everyone in this world out there is trying to hurt us also he doesn't seem like one of those villagers, I mean look at his clothes dirty and he fainted from weakness, he must have gotten lost in the forest by accident. Its the blessing of gods that brought him here, if he had accidentally ventured into the deep forest he would have been killed by all those mutated monsters."

Jay sat up looking confused, A young girl Sheena turned around standing and took a few steps back, she was young and had curly hair which she tied up into a single pony with a ribbon, she had a fair complexion skin and was wearing frock which seemed to have been used a lot. Jay with a awkward face said in a low voice.

"umm, thank you for helping me."

Grandma who was sitting on the floor in the kitchen sorting some kind of herbs, stood up heard his word, and started moving toward him her back bent, she was an old lady with white hair and wrinkles on her body, and with a smile on her face, she said.

"You don't have to worry about that child, it looked like you were in a rough situation"

Jay while scratching the back of a head with an awkward smile replied.

"yes, I was in an accident and fell into a river and found myself here, I don't have any idea where I am, maybe I can borrow a cell phone from you so that I can call for help."

Sheena with a distrusting look on his face said,

"Do you think you can get any reception in between the forest? Are you dumb or what?"

"Sheena don't be rude to the guest, he just said doesn't know where he is. anyway, where are you from, child?"

"Ohh, my name is Jay Ayan I am from a small town named Shanti."

Grandma tried to think hard but in the end, she was confused and asked,

"I don't recall any town named Shanti nearby, which state are you from?"

"From C.G."

Sheena's disbelief grew stronger, looking at here face Jay was confused when she replied,

"Impossible, you are saying that you drifted in the river for over 1000 km, crossing to the other state? See Grandma I told you we should not trust him, he is definitely lying to us"

Jay was stunned listening to Sheena's question and suddenly something downed on him as he asked in a surprised tone,

"what do you mean by 1000km, wait, what date is today?"

With a calm expression, Grandma sat beside him and answered,

"It's 06 July today."

He was sure that the day he had the accident was 25 March, which means he had been drifting for 4 months and he wasn't just unconscious for half a day but was in a coma for all that while. The first thought that came into his mind was his family must have been worried sick because of him. He got up from bed in a hurry speeding toward the door, while grandma stood in his way saying,

"I understand that you have to go back home, it's already late at night, and it is not safe to travel at this time. Why don't you have dinner with us and in the morning I'll show you the way to get out of the forest."

Jay stood there like a frozen statue, he knew he could survive the wild, especially at night, taking a long sigh he sat on the bed again looking helpless he said,

"Thank you for taking care of me."

After some time, they were all sitting on the floor eating dinner together, it was bread and vegetables which were made by Sheena, after eating a few bites of food, he couldn't contain his thoughts and said, 

"Food is really delicious."

Hearing a compliment, Sheena's cheek flushed a little red, she never heard anybody else complimenting her cooking skill other than her grandma but she didn't show any reaction to his words. Continuing the conversation Jay asked,

"Why do you live in the forest, wouldn't it be better to be in between civilization, I am pretty sure it would be more comfortable than this."

Grandma sighed heavily and put her food down on the plate that she was about to eat and said,

"Obviously we used to live like that, but five years ago my granddaughter showed a sign of mutation and villagers got the whiff of the news, The village chief is a cruel and paranoid man, he was scared of things that he can't control himself and at the same time mutant animal attack increased around the village which gave him a chance to attack as claiming that it all Sheena fault, few villagers took our side as they didn't have any proof but at the end, chief banished us from the village and we are living here since then."

Listening to her grandmother explaining her situation to a stranger she was getting angry but then her grandma said something that totally surprised her,

"It seems like you are also a mutant."

"How did you know? I was only awakened after an accident."

With a big smile on her face, she replied,

"Because I am also a mutant with my granddaughter, I have a very strong sense of smell, and believe it or not your scent is different from others that I know"

"Different how?"

"Because you smell of danger"

Just as Jay got curious about Grandma's statement, a shout started coming from outside of the hut which surprised them because it was already midnight, grandma put her finger on her lip signing them to stay quiet as she slowly got up and opened the door, voices coming from outside became clear and they heard someone saying,

"We know that you are hiding a monster with you, send him out to us and we will spare you and your granddaughter's life"
