2. Greed System's Shop and Greed Points

(A/N: I changed the system from having a voice to just appearing as a screen in front of the MC. [MC] denotes the system screen.)

"Greed System?" Cassian mumbled in confusion when he heard that.

'I've heard of Lust system, vampire system, werewolf system, and basically any other system. This is the first time I'm hearing about a Greed System.' Cassian thought to himself.

[The Greed System has been activated.] 

"What are the Greed system's functions?" Cassian asked after a few seconds.

[The Greed System's functions are to aid it's you in whatever way possible and always follow your will. The system has a Shop where the it is possible to purchase things that they would find use of.]

"What is the currency needed to buy things from this Shop?" Cassian asked the system.

[The currency needed to use the Shop are Greed points, the abbreviation is GP. They are obtained by doing Greedy acts.]

"Well, seems convenient enough." Cassian said to himself as he read it.

[3000 GP obtained for activating the system]

[2000 GP obtained for withholding modern exercises knowledge]

Cassian's eye's widened when he saw it as he had just gotten 5000 points. Though he did find logic in the fact that he got them since he did withhold those information about the exercise and kept it for himself, so it can be seen as him being selfish and greedy, not to mention how effective the exercises of the modern era is compared to the mediaeval era.

'Hmm, but what should I do next? I need to do Greedy things to get the points right?' Cassian thought to himself as he wondered about what to do.

"You know what? I'll just do whatever I think is greedy and hope for the best. For now let's take a look at the items in the shop." Cassian said to himself out loud before he went to his own room to get some privacy as he sat on the couch.

He then opened the screen and went to the shop and went through the things in it as he saw many things in it. Mainly, skills of many kinds and other items which would help him in this world. One skill in particular caught his attention as he looked at its description.

[Skill: Unveiling Eyes]

[Gives the user the ability to scan the users field of vision and enable them to see the status of the things in their vision, may they be living or not. For it to enable the user to see more it has to be evolved.]

[GP: 1000]

Cassian read the description as his eyes widened a bit.

"This is a really useful skill. With this I will be able to know how strong a person is and also the value of an object. I can also use it to, maybe, identify people in hiding. And then there is also this evolving thing, maybe this can evolve into a stronger skill." Cassian said to himself as he looked at the screen.

After contemplating it for a few minutes he decided to buy the skill and bought it from the shop as he is now left with 4000 GP. After that he scrolled through the screen and the skills and items in it as he searched for a useful skill that he can use.

"Not it... This one's interesting... This one is hmm?" Cassian scrolled through the screen when another one caught his attention.

[Skill: Pheromone Control]

[Gives the user the ability to control their own Pheromones and use it to have different effects on living beings according to the wishes of the user.]

[GP: 500]

"This one's good." Cassian said with a smile on his face.

He then purchased it as he got another skill. After that he kept on looking through the shop for things that he could buy for himself. That was when he remembered about something he hadn't done after getting his system.

"Status." Cassian said as the screen changed.

[Age: 16]

[Title: Second Child of House Lancaster]

[Atk: 23]

[Def: 21]

[Spd: 26]

[Skills: Unveiling Eyes, Pheromone Control, Martial Art (Minor)]

"Okay. That's simple I guess." Cassian said to himself as he looked at his stats.

He looked at his stats and wondered how his are compared to the rest of the people in this world.

"System, what is the average stats of a normal person of my age in this world?" Cassian asked the system.

[The normal for the boys of the age of 16 are:

Atk: 10-13

Def: 9-13

Spd: 8-12]

"That means I'm almost twice as strong as the boys of my age." Cassian said to himself as he read the data.

A smile came to his face as he read the information as he is happy that his training for the last four years has come to fruition. He then looked at his GP and saw that he still has 3500 points left to use.

"Hmm, now what should I do with these points? Should I save them for later or use them right now?" Cassian said to himself as he rubbed his chin.

As he was thinking about it the door to his room opened as it took his attention as a maid walked inside and bowed to him.

"Master Cassian, Lord Geard has summoned you." The maid said to him.

"Father did? Fine. I'll go there." Cassian said as the screen disappeared as he stood up from his couch.

'I wonder what he wants me for?' Cassian thought to himself as he walked to his door.
