LIES AND SECRETS

"She can heal herself but not while she's conscious," the general explained.

Dylan's panic heightened as he argued, "Her heart is not beating. She's not unconscious; she's dying."

The general, attempting to reassure Dylan, insisted, "She's going to be fine; that's all you need to know."

In response, Dylan's tone lowered ominously. "And how do you know that?" he questioned, casting a shadow of doubt over the room. An uneasy silence descended, broken only by Dylan's seething frustration. Accusations hung in the air, and in an eruption of anger, Dylan seized the general by the neck, slamming him against the wall.

Fear gripped the onlookers, including soldiers who hesitated in the face of Dylan's unchecked rage.

"You did something to her, you bastard," Dylan accused, his grip unrelenting as he dragged the general out of the ward, demanding answers and accountability.
