INA IS DEAD.
CHAPTER 4 : Ina is dead
The cries of Hazal woke Anna up. She tried sitting up but her body was so heavy as if it weighs thousand tons. Her head kicked and her abdomen shook reminding her of what brought her to the hospital. Her whole body disobeyed to move and she gritted her teeth in annoyance. Her head, legs and arms were bandaged yet there were faint blood traces. She remembered the accident and rushed up with the help of adrenaline hormones. " Ina...." She whispered and got off the bed. Her legs were weak anshe fell hard on the floor. " Uhhh ouch ah... " The pain sink in her brain and she gasped for air. She crawled to the door and someone opened from outside hitting her wounds. " Ahhh ...! " She screamed and held her wounds.
" Anna ..." Jeff rushed to pick her up. Anna was in so much pain because her wounds seemed to have been opened. Blood flowed through the bandage.
" Sorry... Sorry , I didn't know u were awake and at the door... I'm really sorry... gosh u are bleeding... " Jeff was so worried about her.
" Ta... Take me to.. to Ina ... " She forced the words out of pain.
" Anna.... u need some rest.. " Jeff hesitated to tell the truth. But Anna could read something else in his eyes.
" Jeff... What is wrong .."
" Na... Natin.... It's just.. um..."
" It's just what...."
" Where the heck is this bitch!.. " Benita barged inside with anger . Andres followed to stop her from touching Anna.
" Mum stop it , it's not her fault..." Andres held her mum from slapping Anna. Anna looked confused. Benita's face was red and wet , her eyes too was dangerously red and teary.
" It's her fault we had the accident. It's her fault the Ina is dead !... " Benita broke down and cried her heart out. " Ina is gone.. Andres.. our princess is dead... " She sat on the cold floor and wailed. Anna's breath paused, every tick of the clock bounced her heart. Her womb tightened. And her heart stopped to beat . Her eyes watered and she felt her soul pulling out of her body.
" What did u say? " She whispered sounding like a dying soul. Jeff patted her shoulder and she angrily threw his hand away.
" What the fuck did u say about my daughter huh!!!
.." she said boldly , her tears dripping down like rain. She pushed Jeff away and walked unbalancedly towards Andres . Andres pulled her into his arms and shed tears on her head.
" Anna , calm down..." He said under his breath.
" Ina is fine right ... I saved her from the car ... I remember that.., Andres, tell me she's fine to lose my tightening womb. I ... can't.. I can't breathe... " She said helplessly. Andres tightened his embrace. " Ina...!!!!!! 😔... My baby...!..😭😭" she cried like a baby, shouting and screaming loudly. She pulled away from Andres and walked out. It's started to rain. The lightening from outside flash on her body making her pale white. The doctors pulled Ina out from her ward The cloth covering her body carved her tiny body out. Anna leaned on the door for support. " Ina...😟.."
She run to them and took off the white cloth revealing, Ina's small body covered with bruises.
" Madam we have to take her to the morgue ..."
" Can u repeat what u said? Get lost!! .... My daughter is not dead...! .. Ina wake up ... Wake up we need to leave..... U wanted to treat me better right..? Wake up for I'm being bullied by life... Ina , darling can u hear mama, .... " She held the child's hand and kissed it with a sad smile. " C'mon Ina , ... wake up... I promised not to leave u again so u won't leave me either , ... or do you want kisses 😘😘... " She said and showered her face with kisses..
" Ina please... U are making me weak..., U are my life and u know that ... Wake up... "
" Madam ... please let us do our job... we are sorry but ur baby is dead.."
" Ina is not dead...! .. " she shouted like a mad woman and the lightening striked.
" I will take her to my cousin, Janice... She's the best doctor... She will wake her up... "
" It's too late , ma'am.. "
" Nooo...!!!!.. no my darling.. no ... " She carried her and run outside with the lifeless body in her arms. It was raining so heavy outside and the thunder roaring accompanied by lightning. Ina was naked and only in her underwear. Anna bent down with the baby in her arms and cried painfully 😭💔😭.
" Ina .. noo!!!!!!"
She wailed as the rain hit both of them.

Anna's screamed was accompanied by a loud storm and she woke up from the terrible dream abruptly , breathing heavily and her eyes met a group of doctors.
" Yes... It worked.. her heart is beating... Yes... " one doctor said.
" Hurry... put the oxygen mask on.., set the IV stand and administrate and IV drip now.... " The senior doctor ordered. Anna was weak and couldn't move her body. She turned her head and saw Hazal on the bed next to her. She was donating blood for her operation. Looking at her pale face u could see that see has donated a lot. Hazal gave her mum a faint smile and went unconscious.
" Take miss Boanavides... to the next ward and check on her..."
" Doc.... doctor... Hw is Anna now...?. " Andres asked worried.
" It worked... she's out of danger now . " He announced. Andres thanked God for making Anna's operation successful. She almost died due to the harmful gas she exhaled for long.
Jeff run to the doctor from outside holding a bag of chips and coffee.
" Doc... How is Anna?..."
"She's okay now..."
" That's good.. what about the unborn baby..? " He asked .
" Um... Yh .. the child is safe but just weak.
Jeff sighed and sat down. All he wanted to hear is what has been delivered. He care less about the others. His beloved Anna and his unborn baby are safe.
The next doctor gave good news about how Benita pulled through. Ina was still in danger. The doctors rush in and out like players exercising. Andres wentto Hazal's ward to sleep for the night. Jeff slept in Anna's ward. Anna is allergic to anaesthesia so after her wounds were sowed , she was injected with tramadol to ease her pain.
Andres couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about Anna . So many has happened between them but they still love each other. He couldn't sleep knowing Anna was alone with his stupid brother.
He grabbed his shirt and went to the ward. His anger light up when he saw Jeff kissing Anna's belly and touching her body. It's prohibited to fight in the hospital but he lost his control and punched jeff hard causing his head to tilt. The ward was a VIP one and it was so large . Andres dragged Jeff out and kicked him mercilessly , stepping on his face and chest.
" U can touch Anna because of the fucking thing uve put in her belly..., She's not urs . "
" Andres, lemme remind u that u have divorced her. Both of us are strangers to her now.... and I know she will forgive and love me ... Our baby is going to unite us and u can't do anything about it... I will marry her and give her the best treatment ever. I used to hate her but after the death of her only sister , I saw how helpless she had become and learned that she should be treated fairly.... we owe her a lot ... don't create troubles bro... Take ur foot off my shirt... " Jeff spoke struggling under Andres foot and blood oozing from his mouth and nose.
The security arrived to separate them . Since they are really influencial in the country, the security dare not throw them out but instead warned them to be if good behavior . Andres locked himself in the ward and the banging of Jeff from outside distracted Anna's sleep. " I.. Ina.... Ina...." She muttered weakly.
Andres took her hand and kissed the back of it.
The next morning. Anna got off bed and walked to the door. " Why is this locked..." She said to herself. Andres woke up and yawned. He then realized that Anna wasn't on the bed. " Anna.. come back and rest.. why didn't u wake me up when u needed something..? "
" Ina.. I want go to my
daughter... "
" U can't see her now... Please come and rest.. ur baby is weak and u need to watch ur actions.... "
Anna exhaled sharply and said " it's our baby.. "
" That's enough... after having an affair with someone else how u can you say this shit.. "
" I won't lie to u ..! It's our baby ....!!. "
