The Beginning of the Journey

Kaique found himself at the door of what would be his new place of work. His eyes shone with excitement as he uttered the phrase that was ringing in his mind.

— Today is my first day at my new job, I hope everything goes well, nothing can go wrong.

The excitement suddenly disappeared when, as if straight out of a nightmare, a terrifying monster emerged from nowhere, charging towards him. His eyes filled with fear and sadness, as a sentence escaped his trembling lips.

— Damn, I'm going to die on my first day of work.

Luck, or perhaps fate, smiled on Kaique when an unknown white-haired young man appeared like a bolt of lightning, kicking the monster away. Adrenaline mixed with relief in his chest when the boy reached out his hand, helping him stand up.

The stranger, with a smile that exuded confidence, reassured

Kaique

— Oh, man, you shouldn't even be afraid of a monster like that.

Kaique, now relieved, exclaimed

— My God, didn't I die? — However, he was so scared that he ended up peeing his pants.

The mysterious boy turned around, joy on his face as he introduced himself.

— My name is Allan.

The relief was fleeting when the monster grabbed Allan and threw him away, sending him flying to the other side of the city. The grotesque creature had only one thing in mind: Allan's death.

Allan, apparently indifferent, resumed the interrupted conversation

— Oh, did you know that it's ugly to disturb others in their conversation? I forgot, monster doesn't have a brain to think, so I'll finish you off soon. — The atmosphere seemed to vibrate as Allan channeled his power. A dark, pulsating aura surrounded his fist, transforming it into an uncontrollable force. With a swift movement, he charged forward and launched "Vitality Strike," a blast of energy that caused the monster to explode in a shower of blood.

The newly emerged hero, now blood-soaked and horrified, swore

— Ew, how disgusting. I will never use this skill again.

The spectators, a mixture of relief and amazement, applauded the act of bravery. However, the applause and admiration were intended for someone else - a child who, in the midst of heroic action, had saved a cat trapped in a tree.

Allan couldn't stand it and, indignantly, shouted to the crowd

— YOU FOOLS, I JUST SAVED YOU FROM A MONSTER AND YOU PAY ATTENTION TO AN IDIOT CHILD!?

The crowd, unable to understand the magnitude of the feat, laughed at Allan's emotional outburst. The hero, now an outcast, turned and walked away, lost in thought as he reflected on his own journey.

Allan muttered with a touch of sadness

— I wanted to be like the S-rank heroes, to be recognized, to have fame, money and recognition, and not to be treated like trash who is kicked out of the house. I deserve a congratulation for my heroic deeds, but instead I get a stone in the ass. If a hero's life is already like this, imagine what the life of an ordinary student is like. What do I do, I can't complain, I just need to continue on my path. I'm sure I'll succeed and be recognized.

When Allan was about to turn around, Kaique is in front of him and thanks him on his knees for Allan saving him from the monster and that he will remember this for the rest of his life.

- THANKS! Lord, you saved my day...I don't know how to thank you but...you were my hero!

Allan is shocked and embarrassed as he has never been so acclaimed.

– Errr...c-calm down man, there's no need hehe, get up here you go, I'm grateful that you didn't get hurt.

– What's your name hero?

– M-my...name?...errr...just call me...Allan.

– You can be sure Allan, that I will never forget the hero who saved my job and my life, you are the best... AND MY NAME IS KAIQUE PRAZER.

– Pleasure is all my kaique, I hope to see you again... you are my first fan I think...

Kaique hugs Allan and shakes his hand.

– So it's an honor for me to be your first fan, thank you, I hope to see you again too.

Kaique says goodbye to Allan and runs happily to work.

Allan smiles, and becomes motivated again.

As Allan followed his path, fate took him to another unexpected turn. A girl crying at the foot of a tree with a cat attached. The little girl was begging for help, and, in the blink of an eye, Allan used his agility and climbed the tree, saving the cat and lovingly handing it over to the little girl. The glow of gratitude in her eyes warmed Allan's heart, and he left with a smile.

The girl's recognition was immediate

—See, Dispo? You were saved by a hero.

The race home was full of emotions for Allan. He entered and couldn't contain his euphoria, calling for his grandfather to share the news.

However, instead of warm words of encouragement, his grandfather, Necron, greeted Allan with a book thrown in his face.

Grandfather's face clearly showed his irritation

- WHERE WERE YOU? I DIDN'T TELL TO YOU TO CLEAN THE HOUSE!?

Allan, still excited by the little girl's gratitude, replied

— Sorry, grandpa, I had something unforeseen with some business there.

But Allan's true happiness emerged when he revealed the reason for his high mood

— For the first time in the world, someone recognized my heroic deed. I am so happy.

Necron laughed, even if mockingly

— I'm happy, but there's no need for this drama.

Allan composed himself and wiped the happy tears from his face.

Then, Necron surprised Allan by giving him a gift - a brilliant crystal, which glowed with mysterious energy.

Allan, intrigued, questioned

- What the hell is this?

Necron smiled and revealed the true value of the crystal

– You are stupid, it is a magic crystal that will give you power and can also help you discover whatever you want.

Allan is happy and says — Well, this crystal is very beautiful. I'm going to make a necklace so I don't lose it and I also want to know more about this crystal. Furthermore, I want to train my powers more to be stronger — Allan welcomed the crystal, transforming it into a necklace that he hung around his neck. He said goodbye, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

— I liked it, grandpa. Well, I'm going to sleep. Goodnight.

As Allan walked to his room, he let out a sigh of happiness and anxiety, his mind overflowing with possibilities.

Necron, looking at the photo of his son in his hands, whispered longingly

— You remind me of my son...
