Observing the situation of the guards, Dazen smiled when he realized that they didn't suspect anything, so the three left the place and went to meet Kenji to report the success of the mission.
It didn't take long and halfway they met Kenji who was waiting at the place where the three were meeting to exchange information.
Kenji waited for the three to approach and said: "Good job you three, the mission was a success and I didn't need to get involved, Hideki, do you have the information obtained?"
Hideki nodded and passed the scroll with the information to Kenji, Kenji took it and read the information and then said: "The information seems right, so we are going to leave the city tomorrow, end the activities with the disguises you have assumed and say that you will have to return to your hometown so that no one suspects anything and then they find me outside the city, understood?"
The three quickly replied: "Yes." And so the next day they followed Kenji's instructions and met him outside the city and with the assembled group they finally started to head back to Konoha.
Already a little far from the city, Ayume couldn't take it anymore and started to celebrate: "That's it, we did it, we completed our first mission and without Kenji-sensei's help."
Dazen and Hideki were also excited after all, despite it not being a mission that required strength, it still involved several complicated aspects such as infiltration, obtaining information and patience so it was not easy for them.
Kenji looked at the three students who were celebrating their small success and said smiling: "You did very well on this mission, in fact you did much better than I expected."
The three were happy with Kenji's praise and Dazen quickly took advantage and said: "That means you won't put us on these stupid missions to find lost animals anymore."
Hearing Dazen's words, the other two began to look at Kenji, waiting for his answer, when he noticed the look on the three of them, Kenji laughed and said: "Don't worry, you are already good enough for real missions, so from now on we will focus on C rank missions."
The three were happy with Kenji's answer and Ayume said: "Finally we won't be tied to these types of missions anymore, they were a complete waste of time."
Kenji looked at Ayume and said: "It's not like that, these initial missions, although they don't seem to have the purpose of teaching new ninja important aspects of future missions, if it weren't for your previous experiences, it would be impossible for you to have achieved such success in the current mission, you must have realized this fact, Ayume."
Ayume nodded and said, "Well that's true."
The four then continued their journey while talking about various aspects of the mission with Kenji raising some points where the team could have acted differently to complete the mission more efficiently.
After a few days of travel the four finally arrived in Kanoha and then Kenji said: "We have finally arrived, now I will go towards the Hokage's office to deliver the report, tomorrow you are off so rest well during this time we will meet you the next day ."
The three nodded and soon after Kenji disappeared from the place, Ayume looked at the other two and said: "Hey, do you want to go out to celebrate the completion of our mission?"
Hideki said, "That's a good idea, where do you guys want to go?"
Dazen then said: "We can go to Ichiraku ramen, I've been there a few times and the food is really good."
Ayume and Hideki agreed and the former said: "Okay, we're going there today, but next time I'll choose the restaurant."
Dazen agreed and the three started heading towards Ichiraku, meanwhile Kenji arrived at the Hokage's office and knocked on the door waiting for an answer, then someone answered, "You can come in."
Kenji entered and Hiruzen saw him and said: "Kenji, what a surprise, this means that your team has already completed its mission, how did they go?"
Kenji replied, "They did very well, they completed the mission smoothly and efficiently, you can read the details in the report." Then Kenji took out the report and passed it to Hiruzen.
Hiruzen took the report smiling as he spoke: "You're still introverted as always, I'm trying to talk a little, you know." Kenji just smiled and waited for Hiruzen to finish reading.
Hiruzen read the entire report in detail and then said: "I see they did really well, when it comes to teamwork, analysis and planning they are above average, how is their strength?"
Kenji quickly replied: "They were already very strong when they left the ninja academy, but after my training I think they would have no problem fighting a chunin."
Hiruzen was happy to hear that Kenji's team was so good and said, "That's great, so do you plan on signing them up for the chunin exam?"
Kenji said, "I don't plan on signing them up this time, the three of them have great potential so I want to spend some more time training them individually to improve their strengths."
Hiruzen smiled and said: "I understand, so train them as best as possible, the chunin exams take place twice a year so it's okay to be a little late."
Kenji nodded and then changed the subject and asked, "How's the situation on the battlefield, any important developments?"
