Elliott had lost his mind. Maybe the shame her daughter had brought was messing up with his brain. Maybe his mental state was in wreaking havoc because of Sherri. And maybe he felt nothing could atone for his sin other than this crazy act.

Shocking was an understatement. I felt like my soul was leaving my body. A huge blow to every single person in the room I was at. The six elders, ten Alphas, and me. We were having a conference about Sherri's trial when the news broke out by Jordan.

He dashed like a mad person, entering the room without even knocking. He earned a confused stare from each one of us, of course. But the panic in his eyes quickly made us wonder what was happening outside. We did hear a crowd outside. At the town hall to be exact.

"I'm sorry to barge up suddenly, everyone," Jordan said while panting.
