After that fight with Raiden, he felt so horrible and so guilty. He had misjudged Raiden and the entire situation made him realise that he wanted to be with Raiden more than he initially thought.

He wanted to be his, to be owned by him. He wanted to make Raiden happy, to see the admiration, the adoration, and the pride in Raiden’s eyes when he did something right. Like the birthday surprise.

He wanted it all.

"Are you just going to keep staring, or are you finally going to kiss me?"

Raiden’s husky morning voice startled Hiro out of his thoughts. Before he could react, a sharp pinch landed on his ass, making him yelp. He frowned, blinking up at Raiden, whose lips curved into a sleepy smirk.

"How long have you been awake?" Hiro asked, flustered. He hadn't even noticed.
