By the time Raiden finished his last meeting, the sun was already dipping toward the horizon, painting the sky in soft shades of orange and gold. His day had been long, filled with tedious discussions and negotiations, but all of that faded into the background as he hurried to one of Hiro’s favourite restaurants. He ordered their usual, double-checking everything to make sure it was perfect, before making his way back to the office with the bags of food in hand and the moment he stepped inside, his breath hitched.
The floor-to-ceiling windows behind the bed framed the breathtaking sunset, its warm hues spilling into the room and casting a golden glow over Hiro. The white sheets beneath him reflected the amber light, giving the entire space an ethereal feel.
