Weight of a kingdom (2)

"If you don't want to be king just run away by yourself. Why the hell do I need to go with you? Rafael is a knight and has sworn to do what it takes to protect you. Get him to run away with you," said Edgar.

Though Edgar disliked the people in town, he happened to like his home and was not going anywhere anytime soon.

Tobias rested back on his chair. "You're more boring than I realise. Why wouldn't you want to go on an adventure with me? We both have enough money to go somewhere far away to start over. We can find somewhere no one knows of us and we won't have any responsibility. I-"

"Alfred, escort the prince out," Edgar said, tired of hearing this dream Tobias had.

If Tobias did not want to be king, he should make it known to his parents. Let the responsibility be passed onto his uncle or a distant relative. There was nothing Edgar could do for Tobias right now and running away was not going to solve anything.
