The Battle of New York raged fiercely, transforming the city's skies and streets into a chaotic battlefield. The Avengers fought valiantly against the invading Chitauri forces, their unity and determination shining through the turmoil. Onboard the Quinjet, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow navigated the chaos below, while Iron Man soared through the air alongside Ben Tennyson, who had transformed into Jetray, engaging the enemy from above.
Below, Chitauri soldiers wreaked havoc on the city, their weapons firing indiscriminately at innocent civilians. Captain America surveyed the destruction unfolding on the streets, his heart heavy as he watched local law enforcement struggle to maintain order amidst the pandemonium.
"We need to support the local law enforcement," Steve called out, his voice steady yet urgent. "We have to direct civilians to safety."
The Quinjet made a sharp turn onto Second Avenue, and Clint, with pinpoint precision, unleashed a torrent of arrows at a squad of Chitauri soldiers hovering in the air.
"Tennyson!" Captain America's voice crackled through the comms, urgent and commanding. "We need you on the ground! Help local law enforcement direct civilians away from the fight."
"Copy that, Captain," Ben responded, determination fueling his words. He executed a swift dive towards the streets, activating the Omnitrix on his chest. As he soared towards Stark Tower, his body morphed fluidly, transforming from Jetray into Buzzshock—a diminutive yet powerful alien capable of controlling and absorbing electricity.
As Buzzshock, Ben felt the world shift around him, the electric currents in the environment pulsing with energy. Landing near Stark Tower, he quickly assessed the machine powering the Tesseract. The hum of energy resonated within him, and a grin spread across his face as he approached the wiring.
Extending his tiny hands, Buzzshock grasped one of the cables, drawing in a surge of electrical energy from the machine. The power coursed through him, igniting his form in an intense, greenish-white glow. Charged up and brimming with energy, Buzzshock began to duplicate himself, splitting into dozens, then hundreds of tiny, crackling beings, each emanating raw electricity.
"Alright, team, you know what to do!" Ben's high-pitched voice buzzed with excitement, the static quality perfectly fitting his new form. The swarm of Buzzshocks surged through the streets, becoming a formidable force against the encroaching Chitauri soldiers.
"Let's give 'em a shock they won't forget!" one Buzzshock shouted, launching into action.
Caught off guard, the Chitauri found themselves inundated by the swarm of Buzzshocks. Each tiny warrior leaped at the alien invaders, discharging bolts of electricity that fried circuits and incapacitated weapons. Overwhelmed, the Chitauri struggled to fend off the agile attackers swarming them from every direction.
From above, Iron Man glanced down at the electrifying scene unfolding. "Nice move, pipsqueak," he quipped, impressed by the chaos the Buzzshocks were causing.
Meanwhile, on the Quinjet, Captain America monitored the situation unfolding on the screens. "That's it, Tennyson! Keep them off our backs!"
Black Widow, focused on her own tasks within the Quinjet, couldn't suppress a smirk. "Looks like this guy is full of surprises."
Hawkeye raised an eyebrow, his expression a mixture of intrigue and caution. "Let's hope he can keep it up. These Chitauri just keep coming."
As the Buzzshock army continued their relentless assault, their combined energy forced the Chitauri invaders to retreat. Each pulse of electricity created a momentary reprieve for the Avengers and local law enforcement, allowing them to regroup and strategize.
Two Buzzshock clones perched on nearby light poles, scanning the battlefield. "Alright, I'll take the three buildings on the right while—" Suddenly, a barrage of bullets whizzed through their tiny forms, barely registering as a nuisance.
"Hey, we're on your side!" Buzzshock number 67 shouted, raising his hand in a gesture of peace. "Let's focus on getting the civilians out of here!"
"Right," Buzzshock 66 replied, transforming into a streak of electrical energy and darting through the power lines.
"Captain, did you hear? Are those things our allies?" a young officer asked, crouched beside a patrol car.
"What! Do you actually believe whatever that thing is?" the middle-aged captain retorted, skepticism etched across his face.
"Well, they aren't attacking civilians. They're fighting against those creatures coming out of that hole in the sky!" the young officer insisted.
As the Buzzshocks pressed on, Buzzshock Prime—Ben's original form—moved strategically across the battlefield. He knew the tide of battle needed to shift decisively. Spotting a Chitauri cruiser, he rallied his duplicates.
"Form up on me! We're taking that thing down!" he commanded.
The Buzzshocks converged, their electrical discharges combining to create an immense blast of energy. The cruiser shuddered under the onslaught and, with a spectacular shower of sparks, its systems overloaded, sending it crashing to the ground.
However, their victory was short-lived as more Chitauri soldiers flooded the area. But Ben, still brimming with absorbed energy, was far from finished. "For every one of you, there's a thousand of me!" he proclaimed, ready to multiply himself once more and continue the fight alongside Earth's mightiest heroes.
The tide of battle began to shift in favor of the defenders. With Buzzshock disrupting enemy operations on the ground, the Avengers coordinated their efforts, striking decisive blows against the alien forces. Inside the Quinjet, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow provided aerial support, directing ground units in their counteroffensive.
Suddenly, a high-energy bolt from a Chitauri weapon struck the Quinjet, sending it spiraling out of control. "Brace for impact!" Captain America shouted as the Quinjet descended rapidly, crashing into a nearby building and skidding to a halt in the street. Smoke and debris filled the air as the heroes scrambled to regain their footing.
Buzzshock duplicates, busy guiding civilians away from the front lines, caught sight of the Quinjet's crash. Instantly, their priority shifted. "We need to get those people to safety, fast!" one Buzzshock called, waving his arms to direct panicked civilians as chaos erupted around them.
As the battle intensified, a deep, guttural roar shattered the atmosphere, sending shockwaves of terror through the city. A massive Chitauri Leviathan burst through the portal above, casting an ominous shadow over New York. Its colossal, armored body glinted menacingly in the dim light, dwarfing everything in its vicinity.
Eyes widened and mouths dropped open as the creature glided through the air. Amidst the swarm of Buzzshock duplicates, Ben's original form stood resolute, staring up at the monstrous invader.
"Get out of here, now!" Buzzshock Prime shouted, his voice crackling with urgency. "Head to the tunnels or shelters! Move!"
Civilians stumbled and tripped, some crying, others clutching loved ones as they fled from the approaching leviathan. The Buzzshock clones sprang into action, zipping around to form barriers against any Chitauri soldiers daring to approach the innocent.
"Sir, there are only four minutes left for transformation," Olivia's voice chimed from the Omnitrix symbol above Ben's head. "It's impossible to evacuate all civilians in time."
Ben's POV:
"I hope you're telling me this because you have a solution," Buzzshock Prime replied, firing a green electrical chain blast at an approaching Chitauri soldier.
Inside the wrecked Quinjet, Captain America pulled himself from the debris, shaking off dust and rubble. He looked up, eyes narrowing as he spotted the leviathan advancing. The sight was chilling—an ominous reminder of the stakes they faced.
"Stark, Tennyson, are you two seeing this?" Steve called out, his gaze fixed on the colossal creature looming overhead.
From his suit, Tony Stark glided through the skyline, disbelief mingling with urgency. "Seeing it, still working on believing it. Where's Banner? Has he shown up yet?"
"Banner?" Steve questioned, still staring at the monstrous leviathan. "Just keep me posted."
As the Chitauri Leviathan loomed closer, casting a vast shadow over the city, Buzzshock Prime's determination only intensified. Time was running out, and the civilians needed a way to escape quickly.
New York Streets – The Frontline
Ben ducked as a Chitauri plasma bolt whizzed past his head, melting a hole into a nearby car. He retaliated instantly, his Buzzshock form pulsing with energy, releasing a concentrated bolt of electricity that sent the alien warrior convulsing before dropping lifelessly to the pavement.
"Olivia, we need analysis! Send in the B16 drones!" Ben commanded, already moving.
"Sir, the B16 drones aren't fully equipped for—"
"I know!" he interrupted, dodging another attack as he became a streak of lightning, piercing through multiple Chitauri soldiers in a single, electrified blur. He reformed, his eyes glowing intensely. "Keep them cloaked and providing necessary intel to me and the others across the battlefield. In key areas. Intervene protecting civilians when needed. Go!"
Hundreds of B16 reconnaissance drones burst from Tennyson Industries' upper floors, their sleek matte-black plating shimmering as stealth systems engaged, bending light around them in a manner reminiscent of Stark and SHIELD tech. Their hushed whirring barely audible, they spread out, covering the battlefield, the skyline, and the key escape routes.
Tennyson Industries Rooftop – Olivia Took Command
Inside Tennyson Industries, Olivia's AI core pulsed with activity, running dozens of simultaneous calculations.
The massive twelve-story structure was headquarters—had turned into fortress in the making, and she was its guardian. With minor damage across its exterior, yet with a unslat of Chitauri kept most of the attack within a 16 meter kill zones. With only a few managing to pass through only to be met with even more defensive as they got closer.
Her digital consciousness split between multiple tasks:
Protecting the building.
Defending the employees and civilians seeking shelter.
Coordinating B16 drones to gather real-time battlefield data.
As Chitauri patrols advanced, groups of panicked civilians stumbled toward the main entrance, some injured, others wide-eyed with fear.
"Unauthorized approach detected. Threat level: moderate. Initiating countermeasures."
The large turret mounted on the eastern rooftop whirred to life, its barrel rotating as it locked onto incoming threats. Designed originally for automated security, Olivia had overridden its restrictions, turning it into a fully defensive weapon.
A pulse of energy erupted from the turret's dual-barrels, striking the nearest Chitauri patrol, obliterating two instantly while sending the rest scattering.
Yet, more were coming.
Buzzshock duplicates—took position near the entrance, their electrified forms crackling with power. They acted as both a last line of defense and emergency rescue units, using their speed to grab fallen civilians and escort them inside.
A woman stumbled, clutching a child, her ankle twisted. A Buzzshock blinked toward her, grabbing both and disappearing in a streak of green lightning, helping guide them inside the safety of the building just as a Chitauri warrior leaped toward her previous position.
BOOM!
A turret shot blasted the alien back into a nearby wrecked car, its body limp.
Inside the building, Olivia currently under emergency lockdown.
"Main lobby secure. Reinforcing defensive protocols. Emergency triage stations online. Water and medical supplies unlocked."
More civilians flooded in, guided by both Buzzshock clones and Tennyson Industries employees. Tennyson Industries wasn't just a tech giant—today, it was a sanctuary.
Skyline – The B16 Drones in Action
Above the chaos, the stealth drones maneuvered with precision, using their advanced optics to scan weak points in enemy formations.
Monitoring and relaying tactical movements to both Olivia and Ben.
Others cloaked and positioned themselves near critical choke points, marking targets for Buzzshock duplicates as well as Cap and the others.
A few had non-lethal suppression weapons, using stun bursts to disorient Chitauri squads approaching evacuation routes.
One drone dropped low, scanning an intersection where a Leviathan was barreling through wreckage.
"Warning: Large threat detected. Calculating trajectory…"
Another drone fed data to Buzzshock Prime, highlighting weak spots in the Leviathan's armor plating with an overlay only Ben could see.
Back at the Tennyson Building – The Fight Continues
More Chitauri dropships descended, aiming for the building itself. Olivia's defensive turrets swiveled, unleashing rapid bursts of energy fire, knocking several Chitauri warriors mid-air.
But they kept coming.
A squad landed on the rooftop, weapons ready.
Olivia immediately rerouted power to the automated defense systems.
The rooftop floodlights flared to life, blinding the invaders, as Buzzshock duplicates surged forward, electricity arcing between them in synchronized attacks.
The battle for survival raged on.
Back with Ben.
A surge of adrenaline coursed through Ben, electrifying his senses. He could feel the energy crackling within him, a tempest waiting to be unleashed. "Got it! Let's do this!" he exclaimed, determined.
With a focused breath, Buzzshock Prime raised his arms, summoning the electric energy that flowed through his body. The air around him shimmered as he concentrated, the electricity forming a vibrant aura. He directed this energy into a massive spherical barrier that began to expand, enveloping groups of fleeing civilians.
As the barrier took shape, some panicked civilians collided with it, momentarily stunned by the sudden appearance of the green electric dome.
Meanwhile, chaos erupted in the streets as police officers fired futilely at the Chitauri flying chariots. A young cop sprinted over to his sergeant, desperation etched on his face. "We need to get out! They've got to bring in the National Guard!"
"National Guard? Does the army even know what's happening here?" the sergeant replied, his expression mirroring the gravity of the situation.
"Do we?" Before the young cop could finish, Captain America landed atop a nearby police car, drawing both their gazes. He looked every bit the leader, commanding attention amidst the chaos.
"I need men in those buildings!" Steve's voice was authoritative, cutting through the din. He pointed to a few structures nearby. "There are people inside who could run into the line of fire. You need to take them through the basement or the subway. Keep them off the streets! I need a perimeter set back to 39th!"
"Why the hell should I take orders from you?" one officer challenged, skepticism in his voice. Just then, an explosion erupted behind them, forcing Steve to turn, raising his shield instinctively to deflect the energy blasts heading his way.
Two Chitauri soldiers leapt from their chariot, landing beside him.
"Everyone, stay close!" Steve shouted, his voice resonating with authority. The Buzzshock duplicates joined him, their bodies pulsating with electricity, amplifying the barrier's strength. As the Leviathan unleashed a torrent of destructive energy, the dome absorbed the impact, crackling with vibrant sparks but holding firm.
"Now, Buzzshock clones, assist the civilians!" Ben commanded. They darted around, guiding terrified people toward underground shelters while distracting any Chitauri forces that dared to approach the barrier.
Ben felt the pressure mount as the Leviathan swung its massive tail, attempting to break through the shield. "Olivia, how much longer do I have?"
"You have two minutes remaining before you timeout. You need to keep that barrier steady!" Olivia's robotic voice urged.
With determination burning within him, Buzzshock Prime focused all his energy, pushing back against the Leviathan's relentless onslaught. "I won't let them down," he vowed, channeling his power into the barrier, making it shimmer brighter. The electrical energy surged, creating arcs of lightning that danced along the surface, a testament to his strength.
As the last of the civilians scrambled to safety, Ben could see the panic in their eyes slowly transforming into hope. "Now, everyone! Move!" he shouted, his voice a beacon amidst the chaos.
With one final push, Buzzshock Prime unleashed a powerful shockwave that rippled through the barrier, amplifying its protective field just as the Leviathan struck again. The creature roared in frustration, temporarily stunned as the energy surged outward, granting Ben and his duplicates a moment to retreat to safety.
"Let's finish this," he declared, ready to confront the Leviathan head-on, knowing he had bought the civilians precious time to escape.
Meanwhile, the civilians below were caught in a whirlwind of terror. The sight of the Leviathan had sent them into a panic, but Buzzshock's transformation elicited a different kind of fear. Some cowered, whispering anxiously among themselves about the danger of a creature that could rival the monstrous Leviathan. "Is that one of them?" a woman cried, clutching her child tightly. "What if it turns on us?"
Yet others were drawn to the shimmering energy surrounding Buzzshock, feeling a flicker of hope amidst the chaos. As, the diminutive little creature kept fighting and protecting those in need.
Clash of Gods
The two brothers moved like a storm, their fight a violent dance of magic and might.
Loki warped around the battlefield, creating multiple illusions that taunted and attacked from every direction. Thor, undeterred, swung Mjölnir with raw fury, dispersing the mirages with each strike.
"You always were predictable, brother," Loki sneered, hurling a blast of searing green energy from his hands.
Thor caught the attack on Mjölnir's surface, absorbing the magic before redirecting it back toward Loki. The Trickster barely dodged, flipping backward and landing gracefully near the edge of the rooftop.
"You grow sloppy," Thor pressed, charging forward.
Loki gritted his teeth—his brother was faster, stronger, but he refused to be overpowered. With a flick of his wrist, he conjured daggers of shimmering Asgardian steel, lunging at Thor with expert precision.
Thor deflected the first, dodged the second, but the third sliced across his arm, drawing golden ichor.
Loki smirked. "Ah, there it is. The great Odinson, bleeding for the first time today."
But Thor didn't falter. Instead, he drove his fist into Loki's stomach, sending the Trickster sprawling across the rooftop.
Before Loki could recover, something caught his attention.
Down below, in the chaos of battle, he spotted them—the strange green, electrified creatures, darting through the battlefield with unnatural speed.
Buzzshock duplicates.
Loki's eyes narrowed in irritation as the creatures assisted the Avengers.
They zipped between Chitauri soldiers, short-circuiting their weapons, disabling their armor, and frying their nervous systems. Others surged toward the civilians, guiding them to safety, their tiny forms pulsing with energy.
One even dashed across a Chitauri Leviathan, unleashing a chain reaction of electrical overloads, sending the massive beast careening into a crumbling building.
Loki's smirk faltered.
"What—what in Hel's name is that?!" he snapped, his anger flaring.
Thor followed his gaze, then chuckled. "Ah. That would be Tennyson."
Loki clenched his jaw. Tennyson? It seems I've underestimate the extent of his abilities."
Loki's grip tightened around his scepter. He had prepared for Iron Man, Captain America, even the Hulk—but this was unexpected.
His strategy was unraveling.
The Chitauri, which should have overwhelmed Earth's defenders, were faltering. Between Thor, the Avengers, and this wretched new player, his once-unstoppable invasion was teetering on the edge of collapse.
And he despised it.
With a growl, Loki turned back to his brother. "No matter. This changes nothing."
Thor smirked. "Oh, I believe it changes everything."
Lightning crackled around Mjölnir as Thor charged again, this time with renewed determination.
Bridge Street – Holding the Line
The streets were a warzone. Rubble littered the pavement, crushed cars burned in the chaos, and the Chitauri poured in waves through the smoke-choked air. Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow fought side by side, each holding their ground against the relentless invasion.
Steve Rogers moved like a force of nature, his shield deflecting plasma bolts as he smashed through enemies with calculated efficiency. He brought his shield up just in time to send a Chitauri flying before pivoting to knock another into a wrecked taxi.
"Clint, Natasha, how are we holding up?" Steve called, not stopping as he bashed a Chitauri's head into the pavement.
"Low on arrows," Hawkeye gritted, nocking and releasing in the same breath. The arrow pierced through a Chitauri's skull before exploding mid-air, taking two more with it. "But making do."
"Could use a little less of them," Natasha quipped, ducking beneath a plasma blast before vaulting over a wrecked car, snapping a Chitauri's neck mid-air. She grabbed its dropped spear, twirling it expertly before impaling another attacker through the chest.
Then, like shadows through the smoke, the B16 drones emerged.
Dozens of them, sleek and silent, flickered into visibility, their cloaking tech shimmering like ripples on water. They darted through the battlefield, precision lasers cutting through Chitauri armor, shock pulses disabling enemy weapons.
One drone hovered beside Natasha, firing a pinpoint EMP burst that sent three Chitauri soldiers into convulsions before they collapsed to the ground.
"Well, that's new," she mused, kicking an attacker aside.
"Not complaining," Clint added, as a drone swooped past, intercepting a plasma bolt before returning fire. "Ben's little toys sure know how to make an entrance."
Up above, Iron Man rocketed past, unloading repulsor blasts into the Chitauri ranks. He noticed the drones zipping through the battle, cutting down enemies with eerie precision.
"Hey, Olivia, was there a memo about Tennyson turning into Skynet, or was I left out of that meeting?" Tony's voice crackled through the comms.
"Stark," Olivia's voice responded in his earpiece, her tone flat, but unimpressed, "these drones are programmed to provide tactical support, not world domination."
"Uh-huh," Tony smirked, barrel-rolling past enemy fire. "I've seen this movie. Doesn't end well."
"Focus, Stark," Steve cut in, flinging his shield into an approaching chariot, knocking both riders off before catching it mid-spin.
Tony chuckled, boosting back into the sky. "Fine, fine. But if one of these things tries to 'eliminate all human threats,' I'm calling it now—I told you so."
" Wait don't you have a personal AI assistant," Natasha's voiced out.
" What the are you all talking about?" Steve questioned, a little concerned if there already talk of another potential threat he should worry about during the fight.
Above the fray, Buzzshock Prime fought furiously, unleashing arcs of raw electricity as he zipped through enemy ranks. His duplicates swarmed the battlefield, frying Chitauri weapons, short-circuiting their vehicles, and disrupting enemy formations.
But the energy coursing through his body was beginning to flicker.
Then, in his earpiece, Olivia's voice cut through the noise:
"Ben, you have ten seconds left before you time out. You need to fall back—now!"
Buzzshock's glowing eyes widened. Ten seconds. That wasn't enough time to retreat cleanly—and there were still civilians exposed, still Chitauri to take down.
But Olivia was right. If he timed out mid-air, surrounded by enemies, he was dead.
Gritting his teeth, Ben made his choice.
"Got it," he muttered.
And with that, he made his final move.
