A New Perspective

"Uh, what was that?", Cyrus said as he felt a sharp pain in his eyes from the flash of light a few seconds ago. Cyrus then opened his left eye and it burned like he had touched fire with his hand. "AHHH", Cyrus yelled as he put both of his hands around his eye socket as he tried to reduce the pain but it was useless as his eye continued to hurt. After a while however, his eye didn't hurt anymore and he was able to open it with ease again. He tried opening his right eye next and to his surprise, he could open that eye painlessly as well. He then saw that they were in the lobby of the Simmons Center and everyone else was also waking up again. "What happened?", Cyrus asked just in case anyone had an answer. "All i remember is a bright light and Penny short circuiting", Xander said as he along with mostly everyone in the lobby were adjusting there eyes as they looked outside and saw that it was morning time once again. Cyrus looked around the room and saw mostly everyone except for two pony's. "Man that was surly something", Sophia said as she was able to get on her feet again. "Uh guys, where are Twilight and Starlight?", Cyrus asked in a slightly worried voice. "Beat's me", Austin said in yet another slightly worried voice. "On another note, where the heck is Penny and London?", Casey said as she saw everyone in the lobby but not Penny, London, Twilight or Starlight. "Where could they be?", Cyrus said. As everyone was able to get on there feet, and tail, they started to look around the room for clues. They noticed that there was a bit of a hole in the front window from where Liz was the other day. "Wait guy's", Austin said with interest in his voice. "There's a pile of ruble next to the entrance!" The gang hurried over and saw that the pile of ruble was big enough for a person or two to be underneath. Thinking that Dez might be underneath this pile, the gang wasted no time whatsoever as little by little, they pushed the ruble out of there way while also being carful in the process. After a little while of this, they noticed that someone was in there and after a few seconds, a hand emerged from the rubble but it wasn't Dez's hand that came out of the ruble. "What...happened?", Liz said as she looked around and saw the gang clearing the rubble from her. "No...i couldn't have....? How....you're not suppose to be here", Liz said with surprise, fear and a little bit of anger in her voice as she then shouted "You should have been dead by now!" "Are we though?", Austin asked as Liz's face turned from a shocked look into an angry look. "I had the power....to destroy you and yet.....you stand here....how?", Liz said as her tone started to rise. Just then however, the ruble next to Liz started to shake as another hand came out of it as Dez emerged with a thundering streak of cough's. "Dez!", Everyone but Liz said. "I guess...a counter attack has.....it's perks", Dez said as his voice was very weak. "You CHILD. I gave you one job and you couldn't do it...!", Liz said as she looked like she was about to charge up a spell when nothing happened. She had put her hands in the right spots but no magic related thing had came out of it. She just looked like she was imitating a crystal ball almost and that was it. "No...I lost my magic....my power", Liz said as she then felt a pain in her throat as after a few seconds, she coughed up the Arcturion with a push from her fist. The Arcturion however went flying but Cyrus was able to catch it in mid air. "No....That's MINE!", Liz said as she tried to stand up but her legs couldn't keep up as she fell to the ground in weakness. "I'm sorry Liz but this gem belongs in it's rightful place in a museum", Cyrus said with strictness in his voice. "But the power...it felt so GOOD", Liz said as she tried to crawl to Cyrus but she was too weak even to crawl like a baby. "Do you think we should kick her butt again?", Dez said as he was able to get on his feet once more. "Stand back. I think i have an idea", Cyrus said as he walked over to Liz and took a knee. "Cyrus, what the hay are you doing?", Sophia said as Liz looked at Cyrus with what strength she had left in her. Liz, just hear me out-", Cyrus said. "I don't care. Just give me MY GEM", Liz shouted with anger in her tone. "Liz please listen, look what this gem has made you to do!", Cyrus said as Liz cut him off again. "No...It was MINE. It should have been MINE! I wasn't able to do....any of the things....I...WANTED!", Liz yelled as her eyes started to turn black again. "Look what this gem has made you to do! You took over Dez's body, you tried to kill you're own daughters and you could have destroyed the very thing you wanted back. Don't you see what this thing has made you into someone you're not?", Cyrus said as he saw that he couldn't convince Liz about this gem on his own so he had no choice but to use one of his many skills, the art of persuasion. "I know this isn't you deep down in that heart of your 'res and i think you know it as well", Cyrus said as he started to use his persuasion skills to the test, hoping it would have an effect on Liz. "...You don't know me at all", Liz said as she started to show moments of weakness until she covered them up for a while. "You don't know why i do the things i do", Liz said. "Then why do you do them?", Cyrus asked. "...Because i just wanted to have a family again", Liz said with defeat in her tone as she started to open up. "What do you mean?", Cyrus asked with concern in his voice. "I lost the love of my life, i lost one of my daughters due to Adam, i didn't have time for London anymore. I just wanted a normal life and yet i couldn't get that while you Anderson's lived the perfect, dream life in your house with two loving kids while i couldn't spend time with the one kid i already had but i needed to focus on my job just to make a living", Liz shouted as Cyrus was left there speechless. "Liz, we've all been there you know-", Cyrus said as Liz cut him off. "Have you?", Liz asked with doubt in her eyes. "Yeah. When i started magic school, i had to focus on my studies and only see my new and the greatest friends when i could since i had to be the top of my class as usual. Then i started to play Wizball and relearned something called time management. I learned how to have fun with the people you care for and still be the top of the class at the same time", Cyrus said as Liz started to process this mentally. "Well, i guess i did overwork myself to the point where i would just go home and sleep everyday without eating or saying hello", Liz said as Cyrus saw that he was almost there. "So what are you waiting for?", Cyrus said as Liz looked at him. "I can't. It's too late for me. Penny and London already hate me by this point", Liz said. Cyrus then help Liz get up on her feet again. "Don't ever think that it might be too late for you. You don't have to wait anymore", Cyrus said as everyone else came over to the two of them. "It's...not too late for me?", Liz said. "But i did so many terrible things and-" "It's not too late. It's never too late. Now as soon as we find Penny, London, Twilight and Starlight, you can make up to them", Cyrus said. "I mean i guess it couldn't hurt", Liz said with a nervous voice. "That's the spirit", Austin said. "Now there's only one question, where are the rest of us?", Xander said. 

Meanwhile . . . 

London opened her eyes as her eyes were a bit sore but not as much as she thought. Her vision was a bit blurry though but she could see that she was in a dark warehouse as she was laying on what looked liked a gurney. "What is...this place?", London said as she then started to panic. "Help...HELP!", London said as Twilight rushed over to her. "Don't worry London. It's going to be ok", Twilight said. "What is going on Twilight?", London said. "You and Penny were badly hurt during that battle and if we hadn't brought you here...you would have been killed for sure", Twilight said. "Oh. T..hanks for that?", London said as she didn't know what to say in that moment. "You're welcome. Now take that bandage off. On your back", Twilight said as London took off her back bandage as she noticed her back was healed. "It's completely healed.", London said. "Yep. Your back got damaged back there. Now jump as high as you can and then you can start to feel something on you're back", Twilight said. "Is this really the time to talk on how weak my legs are right now?", London said. "Just do it", Twilight said. London then got out of the gurney as she jumped up into the air and felt a tingly feeling on her back as she then started to float in mid air. "WHAT THE?", London said as she noticed two black lines with a little bit of pink on them forming an outline on her back as she was completely speechless. "Congratulations London. You're now magical and bionic", Twilight said with a smile on her face.
