"I'll see you then" His grandfather said with a chuckle before pressing the end button and bursting into a fit of laughter.

Thank heavens that he came here today.

Noah's eyes narrowed, instantly guessing what had transpired in that innocent phone call and his eyes drifted to Laleen with intrigue.

How she was unknowingly making Shane's life difficult amused him.

"Is he alright?" Laleen asked in concern while staring at the old man.

Noah tried to hide his suppressed laughter by turning away. He definitely wasn't after that phone call.

"Of course. He was making some preparations and busy with work and that's why he hasn't been home for a while. He even asked about you"

Laleen's eyebrows quirked up in disbelief but she quickly masked it with a smile while she nodded.

The older man though, picked note of it and he clicked his tongue in frustration. How un-couplelike were these two?
