He isn't your typical Northern Duke who hides his emotions, instead, he is a very intellectual person, logically and emotionally.  He knows that Latrice is the woman he loves, and that's why he traps her in a five-year marriage contract with outrageous consequences through her father's desperate crisis.

Her name sounds way too foreign to be a name that originated from Eros. I've read about such names before and I just cannot seem to remember where I read it.
