He isn't your typical Northern Duke who hides his emotions, instead, he is a very intellectual person, logically and emotionally.  He knows that Latrice is the woman he loves, and that's why he traps her in a five-year marriage contract with outrageous consequences through her father's desperate crisis.

I stared at him nervously. He heard a lot of crazy things today and he must still be curious about how I met Eloise if she died thirty years ago.

His eyes were focused on nothing, but he started in the direction of the floor. His eyebrows were scrunched inward as he thought. It made him look crazy and distressed.

"When do I see the proposal?" he asked as he shook his head smiling at me.

My eyes lit up in excitement as I dashed passed him to the study table that was I'm the room.

"Does right now sound good to you?" I asked excitedly.

He chuckled as he walked towards me. He started at the papers amazed and impressed. He picked up a paper and read through it shocked and surprised.

"Is this true?" he asked surprised.
