Season 3: A Skip of Time

[Been a while, hasn't it?]

A long time has passed since the most recent chapter of Game Quest. Many things have happened since then.

One event is the Universe's splitting and the cosmos' re-organization. A week after Soshin used a wish to restore order in reality, Rei Aki-ma made contact with the Goddess of Living Nature. This split the universe into two halves: one still controlled by Rei Aki-ma and her allies, and the other controlled by TGOLN. Speaking of Rei Aki-ma and friends, how are they? Well, Veldona, Soshin, and Lolibaba were on a little "trip," and this trip resulted in Veldona finding out that she's a princess.

Lolibaba told both of them about the fact that she could go hyper at any time she wants. She just chooses not to because it would destabilize .

[1 1/2 Month Before Current]

After they all returned to Seol, Soshin gathered all the important figures in the universe to have a meeting about how the universe should look from now on.

They all sit inside an internet café, one meant for large parties between co-workers.

Soshin sits down at the head of the table and puts a map of the cosmos on the table. Veldona says, "Is that a current map of what we have now?" Soshin responds with, "Yes, it is." "Wish!" And with that, she summons a pen onto the table.

Veldona says in response to the pen appearing, "What is that?" Soshin responds, "This is a pen I created, and its function is to write whatever we put into reality—time, matter, space." "Whatever we write down on the map will become true. It will be easier for us to reshape the universe."

Baryon grabs the pen and erases an asteroid.

With the stroke of her finger, the celestial object is no more, instantly erased.

Baryon says in excitement, "So it works." "How about we discuss what to do with the galaxies on our side, Ma'am Universe?" The Observable Universe then takes the pen and moves each of the 12 galaxies, except for the Milky Way. Galaxy 2 is moved closer to the Milky Way, and Galaxies 3, 4, and 5 are moved exactly 5,000 light-years away. The other galaxies are moved closer together.

Veldona then suggests they should try to bring the higher dimensions into the corporate world and create a new peaceful cosmos. Bayon interjects and says, "They will never agree to any deal we propose!" "If anything, we would just be putting puppets inside their domains!"

Veldona then says, "We would simply be putting advisors over the dimensions." "It is a harmless deed to ask. As the second princess of the Empire, I—"

Bayon objects, "You just now figured out you were a princess two seconds ago." "Calm your tits."

Veldona backs down but still tries to propose the idea to others.

During their argument, a new hire walks by. She approaches the entrance to the room and overhears the conversation. She is aware that whoever is inside is important. During her cleaning process, she sees Bayon begin to make a wish. To her knowledge, superheroes, "magic," and things of the sort were no more.

But this didn't just seem like some type of superhero—this power, this being was something else.

Bayon then notices (or rather cares enough to notice) her listening in.

So Bayon does the most logical thing and invites her to come in.

Bayon says, "Welcome in." "We would like another human to sign off on what we are going to do to your home." "And by home, I mean the universe." "Oh! And another thing, what's your name?"

The girl says, "That's a bit of private info, but just call me Mel."

Bayon says, "Mel, we are currently deciding what to do with the current state of our universe and the higher dimensions that follow." "We are deciding that dimensional governors will be placed in all dimensions not only accessible but also legally occupiable by us."

Veldona objects, "But I, a superpower's word, should be enough, no?"

Bayon responds, "We do not want to get into any more issues." "And we want the people to respect us again. The universe did just explode like two seconds ago."

Veldona says, "Fair, but what do you think, Soshin?"

Soshin isn't paying attention to the conversation at hand. She would rather be somewhere else, and currently, her head is, well, somewhere else. Rei Aki-ma waves her hand in front of Soshin. She then prepares to slap her, but Soshin quickly shuts down the idea and says, "Gather people from those dimensions and make them fight each other." "It doesn't matter if they are allied with us, just that some type of order is established." "Also, none of you are permitted to go to the 9th to 11th dimensions." "Well, I take that back." "I do not want you to go to those dimensions, but I won't stop you from doing so."

Mel quietly says, "What's in those dimensions?"

Everybody turns to Mel. Mel's face goes red as she says, "Did I say something wrong?" Soshin says, "Does she know?" Veldona says, "Well, duh! She wouldn't know." Baryon says, "Let me tell you the story, Mel." Soshin says, "And why are you telling the story?"

Baryon responds, "Because whatever you have, I just have slightly less than you, except knowledge."

Baryon says, "The story goes that a white fox girl was wandering around the dimensions." Veldona pitches in, "And that girl is you, isn't it?"

Baryon says, "Maybe!" "Anyways." "The young and charming fox girl walked around the 8th dimension. The 8th dimension was made up of different cities that all formed one community." "She helped out the less fortunate, and she also blessed everybody with her presence." "But one thing was apparent." "Something was going on in a higher dimension. The reason was that there was a strange mist coming from somewhere. We didn't know where this mist came from." "I—I mean the fox didn't know where the mist came from." "She could have just wished it away, but instead, she wanted to find the root of the problem." "So she used a wish to grant her access to the hidden 9th dimension…"

[Now we show the story in mega detail…]

Baryon enters the 9th dimension. It is cold, dark, and windy. To a regular human, it would be completely dark, but for her, she's able to see everything without any extra powers or abilities. She looks up and sees a person descending toward her. She waves at the person, and he responds, "What brings you here and who are you?"

Baryon responds, "Well, I am Baryon, the lucky fox." "Who exactly are you?"

The person responds, "I am Z." "I am the Shield of the 9th dimension."

Baryon says, "The Shield, huh."

Z says, "Yes, the Shield." "There is the Shield of the 9th Dimension, the Sword and Crown of the 10th Dimension, and finally… The Heir."

Baryon presses for information about these two. "So what about this mist… It's coming from this dimension, and it's pretty weird."

Z says, "My bad… We have gotten an order from the Heir to pump out Secular Energy to the lower dimensions to…"

Baryon says, "To…? To what? Do you not know?"

Z responds, "I do not know." "He hasn't told us yet." "All of the 9th dimension is dark. All of the 10th dimension is light. And the 11th dimension is… it is the absence of light." "There's a difference."

Baryon says, "And that is?"

Z says, "The absence of light in this case means that light doesn't exist and cannot exist whatsoever."

Baryon says, "Interesting." "Welp! We are running short of time! See you guys next time in the next Game Quest chapter!"
