Gentlemanly Alec

I felt so scared staying alone at home. I couldn't help but curse Xavier for leaving me all alone in the villa. I walked to my room trying all sorts of ways to fall asleep but it was to no avail. I drank coffee thinking I would fall asleep but I had totally forgotten that coffee was to combat sleep not aid it ! I sat lazily on the sofa when my phone beeped.

it was from an unknown number. (Text message convo):

Unknown : hello

Belle:hi name?

Unknown:oops sorry it's Alec

Belle:oh Alec what's up

Alec :am bored that's why I texted

Belle :well ain't you supposed to be at that party

Alec :well I should but I decided not to can we hangout?am outside your house

Belle:huh outside my house.?( I jumped to check the window and confirm)okay will see you in 10 mins

I opened the closet and realized all wthe cloths I brought from home were rags. I signed and opened the closet that contained the cloths Ryan had picked for me. I made do with an Armani skirt and a laced top which was quite revealing. I wore a pair of black heels , did some makeup,styled and curled my hair and finally when I looked in the mirror, I didn't believe all that effort was gonna result into this I didn't even look prettier. I blamed it on my bad make up skills so I wiped off the make up and just went with a lip gloss and eye liner.

I really didn't know why I was trying so hard to dress up. It's just Alec I murmured to my self . I walk down the stairs only to see Alec staring at me with mesmerized eyes. I couldn't help but blush when he made a gesture to tuck a loose hair behind my ear. A couldn't help but blush hard. " so what's the occasion Alec where should we go to " I asked obviously giving him a hint. He seemed to catch on fast and replied " I know a very popular restaurant, they make good steak " he replied making my stomach flutter. I felt very comfortable with Alec in fact he was better than Xavier. I followed him into the car and he leaned on me immediately, why was he so hasty to take things to the next level, I thought but the fastened my seatbelt instead and I couldn't help but smile at my foolishness.

Alec started the conversation, he really was the perfect gentle man for a date. " well I didn't get to wave you goodbye the last time we met " he said smiling adoringly at me ,I could only mumble a "oh so bad". Alec laughed at me shyness and couldn't help but tap my forehead." I didn't realize you are my cousin sister, I wouldn't have allowed that blonde receptionist to bully you, she was probably jealous since I noticed girls are usually repulsive against another who they think is more pretty or better than them" he affirmed but I argued " well you are wrong, me for example I don't give a damm about who is better or prettier than me I just try to get closer to them so I can learn one or two beauty tips" he stared at me in surprise and said " Rebecca could help you with the beauty tips , not that I said she is prettier than you but she is a fashionista not that you ain't a fashionista but she has great style I didn't mean you don't have a great style but…." I laughed at his nervousness " it's fine Alec I get what you mean but that girl seems rude " I said making him smile knowingly.

We arrived at the restaurant after a very long chitchatting. I was glad I wore the heels or else my dressing was not meant for a restaurant dinner. We walked in hand in hand into the restaurant. Alec pulled out a seat for me while holding my hand. His gentle manly care and affection were making butterflies to attack my stomach. The waiter came with the menu and left. I scanned through the menu and finally ordered some steak and cioppino which seemed dumb because cioppino was a seafood dish. Alec smiled at my gluttonous behavior, he ordered ramen which I didn't even know they served, I eventually ordered ramen also. My eyes darted to the other side of the room and I couldn't help but shiver in horror. A pair of eyes were glaring at Alec....
