First of all, this is the sequel to my previous book, 'The Exiled Lady's Rumoured Tyrant.'.

Rei was a high-ranked lady official in the Qin Empire who was exiled from her empire due to a planned scheming.
 
After spending for about two months in a neighbourhood Kingdom that was said to be ruled by an evil tyrant, her name was cleared and was finally able to return to her homeland.

With the two months spent with that said evil tyrant, she started developing a special to him. Despite that, Rei still decided to return to her homeland.

However, an unexpected event happened, Rei was assaulted and nearly died, the said evil tyrant saved her and sustained a serious injury.

And so... Their story continues...

That Time When He Conquered The Qin Empire.

Reaching the huts area, everyone including Ben's house servants moved into the respective huts. Those characters with nam... Rei and the others moved into the biggest hut that have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a dining area. After a short discussion, they decided that Rei and Xi Er would share a room, the King and Ben would have another room, and Holly would have her own room alone.

Moving into the small yet cosy room, Rei observed the interior in disbelief. This is her second visit to this infamous snow fortress, the first time was a few weeks ago, in a totally different and unpleasant situation. She could never imagined that she would set her feet once again into this place as an invited guest.

The interior of the room is quite new with a subtle scent of wood, showing that this hut was either newly built or newly renovated. Rei can't help but wonder why the snow bandits would even give them such hospitality.
