First of all, this is the sequel to my previous book, 'The Exiled Lady's Rumoured Tyrant.'.

Rei was a high-ranked lady official in the Qin Empire who was exiled from her empire due to a planned scheming.
 
After spending for about two months in a neighbourhood Kingdom that was said to be ruled by an evil tyrant, her name was cleared and was finally able to return to her homeland.

With the two months spent with that said evil tyrant, she started developing a special to him. Despite that, Rei still decided to return to her homeland.

However, an unexpected event happened, Rei was assaulted and nearly died, the said evil tyrant saved her and sustained a serious injury.

And so... Their story continues...

That Time When He Conquered The Qin Empire.

Under the starry night, Rei enjoyed her first-ever cup of spiced goat milk tea with the King. With the aroma of cinnamon and cardamom mixed with the milkiness of the goat milk which blends well with the base tea, Rei felt so relaxed and calm.

"Your Majesty, I always have a question in my heart..." said Rei as she stared at the foam on the surface of that cup of hot tea.

"Feel free to ask." said the King who lazily leaned on a handrail.
