Rei was a high-ranked lady official in the Qin Empire who was exiled from her empire due to a planned scheming.
 
After spending for about two months in a neighbourhood Kingdom that was said to be ruled by an evil tyrant, her name was cleared and was finally able to return to her homeland.

With the two months spent with that said evil tyrant, she started developing a special to him. Despite that, Rei still decided to return to her homeland.

However, an unexpected event happened, Rei was assaulted and nearly died, the said evil tyrant saved her and sustained a serious injury.

"Heh? Are you serious?" Rei exclaimed in surprise.

"Well... Kind of... It's complicated but yeah... I was the one who suggested him to engage with me." said Yan Er.

"But why? I thought you really hate this sort of forced marriage stuff," said Rei who sounds more curious than confused.

"It's... Not the same. He is a bit different..." said Yan Er who lowered her face to hide her blushed cheeks.

"Well, I can feel that he is different. From the way he addressed you, he is indeed quite a respectful person who would not easily cross the borderline," said Rei.

Yan Er nodded as a smile could be seen on her slightly blushed face.

"Rei, you have been asking me about my relationship with Lord Mongke, so... don't you think you have anything to tell me? You seem to be having a special relationship with those two noblemen who were with us just now," said Yan Er, who decided to dig into Rei's personal matters instead of keep spilling her own little secret.
