First of all, this is the sequel to my previous book, 'The Exiled Lady's Rumoured Tyrant.'.

Rei was a high-ranked lady official in the Qin Empire who was exiled from her empire due to a planned scheming.
 
After spending for about two months in a neighbourhood Kingdom that was said to be ruled by an evil tyrant, her name was cleared and was finally able to return to her homeland.

With the two months spent with that said evil tyrant, she started developing a special to him. Despite that, Rei still decided to return to her homeland.

However, an unexpected event happened, Rei was assaulted and nearly died, the said evil tyrant saved her and sustained a serious injury.

<p>Looking at the man who was sound asleep at her side while he leaned his head on her shoulder, countless thoughts floated out of Rei's head. From Rei's interaction with the King these few days, Rei noticed that ever since the King regained consciousness after the three days long 'slumber', there was something off about the King. Aside from some occasional daze off, the King seems to be very clingy to Rei. Well, it's not like the King was not clingy to Rei before, but ever since he regained consciousness, the level of his clinginess seems to be shooting up sky high.</p>
