Ken slowly took a step back..

'Fuck it!' Ken knowing he couldnt run anywhere, quickly goes back inside the Convenience store
A Display of Items?

Ken kick it to block the door, The items on the display fell scattered across the floor..
Hearing the commotion, the peoples who unconcious in the Convenience store slowly woke up one by one
"Ugh- wha.."
"My head.."
"..EEKK- BLOOD!"
"STOP SCREAMING AND HELP ME HERE!" Ken shouted at them as he holding the door of the Convenience store
Confused, the people look at each other and-
"PUSH THE RACK HERE AND BLOCK THE DAMN DOOR!" Ken snapped once again, slapping some sense back to the people there
"Back off-"
A Tall man with broad shoulders pull Ken from there and push the nearby rack to block the door, the man wore a black t-shirt and short pants. seems like one of those gymrat
The man and few other survivors help blocking the door with anything large enough they can found, while of course some other still panicking, and didnt do anything.
Ken looked at the Gymrat that just helped him, and express his gratitude :
"Thanks man, i wouldnt be able to block it all"
The Gymrat sigh as he done barricade the entrace so these goblins doesnt enter the store, then answer
"Its aight, anyway.. the hell are those.. midgets?"
Ken, squinted his eyebrows then slapped his own palm for a second.
'Midget? how the hell did he didnt knew what a Goblin is?'
After sighing for once again, Ken then answer his question
"Those are Goblins man, have you played any games before?"
The Gymrat, look dumbfounded.. nodding his head then continue :
"I've seen one when my son read about some comic, he quickly turned off his phone and flustered thought."

Blinking his eyes twice, Ken was dumbfounded by his answer

This guy.. did he just catch his own son reading those comic porn?

Kid should've hide it better thought.
"Y-Yeah man! those are basically the same!"
Ken smile nervously, while the Gymrat still thinking.. after a second, the Gymrat continue with his question..
"Arent those.. Fiction? how did thet get here?"
"I would like to ask the same question."
Ken answer immedieatly, then continue:
"Whetever it is, those are real. the corpse near the casheer counter is also real. we should act quickly"
The Gymrat look at the sight of the Goblin corpse Ken has killed before, he couldnt help but almost throw up. Luckily he able to withstand the numb feeling of seeing real gore with his pair of an eye
"..ugh- yeah, i can see that. anyway, the name is Arno, how bout you man?"
"Ken, just call me that."
Both Ken and Arno back away from the entrance they just blocked.. Ken look at Arno for a second and think
'This guy is huge, if he had beard i'd mistake him for a bear.'
CRANK!!-
It didnt take 5 seconds for them to take a breathe and relax, the door blocked by the rack was shattered. the Convenience store door was fully made of glass afterall, the Goblin has successfuly broke it with their hand-made weapons.
"AAAAAHHH!! MONSTER"
"RUN AWAY!!"
Wave of panic spread to the entire place, some quickly running away, some hiding, some other just freezing in place.
"RUN TO THE BACKDOOR EVERYONE, QUICK!-"
CLANK!!-
The rack that block the entrance has fallen down, there is only two choices for all of them.. its either Fight, or Flight.
Of course they'd choose to run.
Ken driven by his adrenaline quickly run away from there, running to the back of the store
His mind is only filled with one thing..
Its to get the fuck out from here!
Arno had an instinct that he had to follow him no matter where he go, as he just follow up behind him.. Arno ask:
"Where we going!?"
"Just help me open this back door first!!"
Looking at Ken who struggled to open the heavy metal door, Arno helped him to open the forsaken rusty door..
CREAK..
The sound of the heavy rusted metal door pushed, scraping the floor send a high pitched sound that both annoying and loud for them
As the heavy lump of iron finnaly pushed to the side, before they could even step outside.. a rush of survivors there pushed them to the side
"GET AWAY! IM AN IMPORTANT PERSON AND I COULDNT DIE HERE!!"
"HUSBAND!- WAIT FOR ME!!"
A man in suit and his wife running away from this place through the door Ken amd Arno put their sweat on just to opened it, bunch of survivors also followed behind them
"Tch! these ungrateful piece of shi-"
"Wait Arno! leave them be.."
Ken stopped Arno who just a second away from snapped.

"AAAAHHHH!!"
"MY FEET!! NO NO NO-"
THUD!!-
Those survivors who just running away from the store completely annihilated, the Goblin had some sorta of blow pipe, shoots the man in suit legs that made him immedieatly fall to the ground.
The man in suit and his wife couldnt do anything except accept their already sealed fate, death.
'What in the world..' Arno couldnt help but disgusted by the sight of another human being torned off just a couple meters away from him
"Seems like this way is a no go, lets use that stair and go to the roof. there we can plan things up and examine our current situation."
Ken was not surprised at all, he quickly climb the stair and reach the roof of the store.. Arno on the otherside was shocked, if he didnt follow his instinct and follow his own egoism, running outside like everyone else he would be dead right now.
'Did he just use them as a bait..?'
Arno was confused by the demeanor of someone who look like a highschool student and how he only seen the lifes of people as a pawn..
Arno quickly shake his head, snapping back some semse to himself and follow Ken climb the stair to the roof.
"Coming right up!"
