"C'mon hurry up they should be here in a few minutes," Ms. Hannah advised.
"Finally. The Christmas break is here can't wait," Diana told the us girls as we did some arranging of the food corner.
"How did your day go yesterday?" I asked Sam.
"Went well, had a great time at the congress and with Jason too," Sam answered.
"And?" Diana presse
"Nothing more. After our dinner he dropped me off at home,"
"Really? I thought he would make a move," I muttered to myself.
"Am gonna help out on the other side," Sam said before leaving.
"What do you mean by you thought he would make a move?" She asked immediately her sister was out of earshot.
"Jason likes her so I thought he would like you know kiss her or something,"
"Well am fucking glad he didn't," Diana said before walking out the gym.
Following her," What do you mean?"
"Nothing. Just after what Mason did I doubt his brother is any different,"
"And what did Mason do?"
Entering the washroom, she checked to make sure that no one else was in the room before telling me.
"During my freshman year, Mason and I dated. We were great together. I told him I loved him after an year of being together. He ghosted me then I walked in on him fucking some Chick at Ken's party, last years senior. He didn't follow me that night nor tried to explain what happened. On Monday he had Stacey stuck on him and treated me like I don't exist. Like I was just dirt on the wall," she said as she broke down to tears.
Hugging I tried my best to sooth her while she sounded like a broken record repeating 'i loved him' over and over until she finally stopped crying.
"To be honest that looks like something Mason would do, but not Jason. He is a sweet guy and I can assure you that he likes Sam," I told her.
"I know. But I guess am still hurt that neither of them even tried to reach out until you came along,"
"But that is for Sam to decide if she wants to date him or not. C'mon help me move the art to the gym," she added washing her face to remove the telltale sign that she was crying.

"I saw some one looking at your art," Kevin whispered to Diana as we were plating our trays with drinks.
"Yes Kevin that is what happens in an exhibition," she replied as if talking to a child.
"Stupid," he said pushing her slightly," i mean he looks like he might buy it"
"I doubt it," she brushed him off.
"Is that why the Ms. Hannah is calling you?" I asked point at the woman waving towards Diana.
"See i told you, go get them tiger," Kevin wished as she made her way to Ms. Hannah.
Taking my drinks tray i continued serving the guests as i tried to keep my eyes from trailing to Mic- no Mr. Ross.

" I cant believe all my paintings sold," Diana gushed to us we stood by the parking lot.
"Told you, you are an amazing artist," Kevin replied quite proud.
"Yeah. Congrats sis, you paintings were amazing, even dad bought one of your art," Sam said hugging her.
"An after party at the Sundown club, we going?" Oliver asked as they joined us.
"Sure. Lets meet there," Kevin replied pulling Diana with him.
Following suit, Jason took Sam with and Oliver left with a another blonde girl leaving me with Mason.
"I guess you are with me," he said walking me to his car.
"Did i tell you that look very beautiful today?" He asked as he started the car.
I was dressed in a white and gold ball gown reaching mid of my legs. While he was dressed in a white dress shirt and navy blue pants, he looked quite dashing.
"No," i replied.
"Well you look quite beautiful Miss Ayla," he smiled.
"Thank you. You also don't look too bad yourself," i replied as blood rushed to my face. Thank goodness it was dark in the car.
"Have you anything planned for the holiday dearest Ayla?" He asked in his terrible Britain accent.
Laughing i shook my head no.
"Then will you be so kind as to accompany me to our cabin house?" He asked.
"Cabin house? Never been in one. So yeah i want to come." I replied excited.
"Great. The others are coming too", he added as we went in to join the rest.
"Come we already got you drinks. Cheers," Jason said.
"Cheers", we all replied as we took the shoot.
"Come on lets dance," Diana yelled over the loud music before pulling me to the dancefloor.
"You happy," i commented.
" Guess what?"
"What?"
"Kevin and i kissed and i have been dying to do it again," she squealed.
"Are you guys together?"
"No," she sighed.
"Why not?"
"Well he hasn't asked and am not ready,"
Before i could even say anything we got split by Kevin and i found my self dancing with Mason.
"Hey," he started.
"Hey yourself,"
"Feels like we haven't talked in ages. Wanna go somewhere quiet?"
"Go where?"
"Home maybe, we could netflix and chill, have you watched The Vampire Dairies yet?"
"No, i would love to watch it,"
"Then lets go,"
"Let me head to the restroom first then we can go," i Whispered to Mason.
After finishing my business i headed back but i seemed to have landed on the wrong side of the bar.
"What is an angel like you doing here?" a tall black, lanky guy with Dreadlocks said giving me his charming smile as he came to a stand still infront of me, but in reality it made me feel weird.
"Leave her alone David," a familiar voice said.
"Mich- i mean Mr.Ross what are you doing here?" i asked once i found the owners voice.
"I should be asking you that, Ayla. This place could get dangerous," he reprimanded.
"Am not alone. Am here with my friends," i told him.
"Then you should get back to them," he advised.
"Sure," i agreed and turned to leave.
"You looked very beautiful tonight," he whispered voice so low that i thought i might have imagined it.
