"Mom, don't even dare go there. How could you keep something like this from me? How could you lie to me for so long? Why didn't you just tell me?" The anger in her voice was palpable. "I'm so sorry, baby. I didn't mean to, okay?"
"I also have a kid of my own, and even though she is young, she knows who her father is. Because I'm not as selfish as yourself, I can't believe I would leave a lie just to protect Angel from the truth."
