Vermithor then began to attack tarahi and conquered it within 3 days. Be then forced all the men in tarahi to fight for him or else he would burn tarahi to the ground. While at the capital the Dillon finally awakened after days and the physician has already given out a report. Dillon has a heart disease and he has pneumonia. Dillon was no longer able to fight in wars or campaigns. He then decided to abdicate the imperial throne to thermidor. Thermidor was then crowned as the 26th emperor of Dolion. This abdication was not wanted by anyone. Thermidor felt as if he took away his fathers honor while Ceres felt like she failed her father as a daughter as she wasn't able to take care of him well. After thermidor ascended he then gathered a huge amount of soldiers for training. Thermidor was under pressure for all and decided to walk around the imperial library and read some books about his ancestors. While he was pick out a book one of the books fell on his head. He was annoyed and went to put back the book but then he read the title "The Crown's Horror". It was a book. A book about the deceased (✖╭╮✖) Prince keiran. His uncle. He thought all documents of his uncles tyrannical reign was already burned after the common folk attacked the Palace to assassinate prince keiran's chief consort and only living heir. He then opened the book and read the contents. It was records about the princes life. When prince keiran ascended the throne he went even more tyrannical. He had hundreds of sons and made them fight in cages for food and honor. He would starve the ones who'd lose and he would spoil those who'd win. And every birthday celebration in the Palace he would order all his sons to fight to the death just for his entertainment. He would then kill all his weekend sons by feeding them to his dogs. Horrors inside those book thermidor read one by one. Cover by cover. And there anger, disappointment, sadness all of those emotions going on his heart.
Thermidor: What madness is this?! How could he have done this! They were his sons and he killed them. They were his wife's and he'd behead them! Was this how the disposed king really ruled?!? If he was unable to rule and he was known as the wise prince. How can I rule? Will I be like him...
Thermidor's doubts became more powerful. He is shaken by his uncles rule and began to question his capabilities not even recognizing the similarities between vermithor&Keiran's similarities. Both had been called the wise princes. Both were not as skilled in military comabat. Both were vying on the throne. It was inevitable for him to fight his brother now.
Dillon: Thermidor.
Thermidor: Father! What are you doing here? You need to rest.
Dillon: that book. Did you read it??
Thermidor: Y-yes father
Dillon: Then what do you think?
Thermidor: W-What?
Dillon: What do you think? I heard you earlier.
Thermidor: Father. I can not believe what my uncle has done in his reign. He is a very cruel man!
Dillon: That's where you and I differ.
Thermidor: What?
Dillon: I don't see my brother as a cruel man. He was just a broken prince. A prince raised with hatred and pressure from his mother's clan while my father demanded that he be the perfect firstborn.
Thermidor: But father those are not excuses for what he has done!
Dillon: Exactly. That is why you should use my brothers reign as an inspiration to be a better emperor. You shall stay strong and not relent to your fears. Do you understand?
Thermidor: Yes father!
With Dillon's wise words thermidor now has a better grip on his fears. But while thermidor gets even stronger Dillon's body weakens further. With his health in decline Dillon now makes the most important choice of his life. He ordered thermidor to attack amasya immediately no matter what the cost... Even if it costs him vermithors life.
While in amasya vermithor finally awakened and ordered his army to next take over Edirne in order to gain more troops. He then moved ordered boys from the ages 16 and above be trained as soldiers. He made them train day and night until they fall to their knees from exhaustion. With the two brothers now in battle Ceres took one last chance of hope to make vermithor yeild. Ceres sent vermithor a letter as a plea for his surrender
"Vermithor,
Please surrender already! Father has already sent an order to attack amasya no matter what cost! You must yeild and give your allegiance to thermidor. Once you surrender I give you my word. I will not abondone you. I will bring you to Trystia to me and give you a position. Please surrender! I will wait for you brother...
Your beloved sister Ceres."
As she sent the letter to amasya Ceres had a flash back of her past treatment to vermithor.

She regretted all she's said to vermithor and knew very well that she is one of the main reasons of vermithors rebellion. As she awaits for her brother reply vermithor has summoned her. She was confronted by Dillon
Dillon: what did you do?
Ceres: f-father?
Dillon: DO YOU THINK I WOULDN'T HAVE NOTICED OUR MESSENGER HAWKS MISSING! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE CERES?!?
Ceres: I'm sorry father! I needed to he's my brother! I need this only one chance please! We must wait for his reply!
