Chapter 41: Dear Aunt

Mateo climbed down from the tree, giving a tug to the rope, and the little horse obediently followed him.

What to do! Clara noticed that Mateo was becoming more and more handsome! "Mateo, you're amazing." Excited, she ran up, hugging Mateo's arm, her eyes sparkling.

Hearing Clara's praise, Mateo straightened his chest even more, holding Clara with one hand and leading the horse with the other as they headed home. The two of them walked ahead in a lovey-dovey manner, and the horse followed behind, seemingly self-pitying.

Back home, Mateo tied the horse to the round-leafed tree. Clara stood to the side, contemplating how to communicate with the horse. The white horse, though beautiful, kept ignoring her attempts to connect.

"Be good! From now on, you will be called Ruby. Little unicorn, please be good and follow us to have meat to eat!"
