Chapter 92 : Ginza Restoration Project (1)

Following their return to the Takigawa mansion, Midori gave Mai one week's leave to go back to her hometown and relax.

Initially, she wanted to give Mai two weeks, but the maid was adamant about staying by her side.

"If I am not here, who will take care of Ojou-sama?" She asked with tears glistening in her eyes. "What if Ojou-sama gets kidnapped again? What will you do without me???"

In order to placate Mai, Midori thus agreed to stay home the week Mai was gone.

She felt especially apologetic to Takiko, who had to cover for her class during her absence.

"Oh, don't mention that, Midori-san," the headmistress assured her. "Take as much time as you need, I do not mind at all."

Takiko did not mind, but Midori did mind.

The one week she spent inside the Takigawa mansion, doing nothing but reading the books that Satoru brought her, was so boring that she asked Onizuka to teach her how to knit baby clothes.
