Chapter 154 : The Lost Memories

It was Minato who came to retrieve Midori from the corridor ground and haul her to her feet after he was done examining Kiyoshi.

"Midori-chan? Why are you sitting on the floor?" he asked in confusion. "Were you not in his room? He already woke up, and all his vital signs have stabilized! It's a miracle!"

Minato was ecstatic, but his excitement dwindled when he saw the forlorn look on Midori's face.

"Midori-chan...? Did something happen?"

Midori forced herself to smile.

"No, Onii-chan. I am just... I am so tired. I want to go home."

A flicker of surprise crossed Minato's face at Midori's words. Downstairs, he and his brothers had been brainstorming the safest way to bring her home without harming the baby in any way. Now that he realized that he no longer had to drug Midori against her will, relief washed over him.

"That's... Wow. Yes! Of course! Shuugo-Niisan and Satoru-kun will be so happy to hear that."
