Chapter 14

The person in the George room .....

The tall officer couldn't help but ask in surprise

"Who did you see ?"

John and Austin had some change in their reaction unlike others and they are not the only one who had change in their face .

Before Marcel could say something, John spoke ! That kid now was brimming with confidence and he was looking at Clara sharply.

He pointed at Clara and said

"She ! I saw her with George in the room!"

Clara face paled .

Everyone looked at her in shock !

Clara was inside the George room at this late night ?

Hmm ! Definitely something fishy here!

The tall officer asked to John

"Are you sure ?"

John nodded and said

"I have seen her and she was also arguing with him ! Ask him and that women ! They both saw it too !"

He was referring to Austin and the blonde women who saw Clara arguing with George .

The tall officer looked at them and saw they were nodding in agreement. He immediately looked at Clara and asked coldly

"Now Clara ! What do you have to say ?"

Clara eyes were looking at the ground. She said in stuttering sound

"I didn't kill him ! I don't know anything about it ....we just talked for a moment! That's all"

John sneered coldly and said

"You have obviously slept with him yet you are saying you don't know nothing? How shameless!"

The tall officer couldn't but ask John suspiciously

"It seems like you know her ! Tell me what's going on here ?"

John was silent for a second and choose to say everything in the end . From their date to the point he caught her cheating on him without hiding anything.

After few minutes, the tall officer nodded and thought he finally got close to the truth .

He felt that Clara has every reason to kill George but also he felt something wasn't right about the situation.

He questioned coldly at her

"You better tell me the truth or else your punishment wouldn't be lighter !"

Clara closed her eyes and said in denial

"It's true I was sleeping with him and was very angry when he said I was the one who slept with him !!! But it doesn't mean I have to kill him ?"

The tall officer knew that he didn't have any evidence yet so he was trying to think something else.

But this time , Austin spoke curiously

"If there was a poison then isn't it better to check everyones room , who knew you may get some evidence?"

Everyone looked at Austin strangely, everytime this man spoke something shocking was bound to happen. Marcel even wondered about how this guy's brains works .

The tall officer eyes flashed and he immediately looked at Austin in surprise.

This guy is smart !

The tall officer said to mark

"Look after them , especially David he is very clever and don't let anyone leave from the hall no matter what happens! "

Mark nodded and immediately began to take control of the people while the tall officer went to check on every rooms .

Luckily no one locked their doors and the tall officer took his time to slowly check on everyone's room.

Time began to slowly pass and the rain outside began to decrease steadily . There was no more thunder sound but the people inside the hallway began to have suspicion at each other .

There might be another killer here !

It was 12 :30 AM

Everyone had sleepy eyes on their face and they couldn't wait to escape from these place .

But unfortunately they couldn't.

A few minutes later the tall officer came down from the lift and everyone looked at him in curiosity. But he just shook his head and said

"Nothing....no clues !"

Everyone was disappointed since it means they have to stay longer here . This place will be like a nightmare to them , some people may not be able to sleep for few days .

"You have left one more place to check !"

Austin spoke while looking at his fingers .

The tall officer thought for a moment and immediately looked at the right side of the north corner . There was a room locked there which had a sign of 'Only for workers' . This room was closest to the kitchen room where murder took place so he avoided his room and focused only on kitchen.

He immediately went there and asked Marcel

"The keys!"

Marcel scratched his head and said to the tall officer.

"I don't have the keys !"

The tall officer eyes narrowed and said with cold smile

"Oh you don't have the keys ? It's very strange Mr. Marcel don't you think?"

Marcel eyes widened slightly and said in anger !

"Officer why are you looking at me like that ! I told you I don't have keys but it doesn't mean there is no keys !"

The tall officer was confused so he asked

"So where is the keys then ?"

Marcel pointed at Tim and said

"He has the keys !"

Seeing the tall officer was looking at him , Tim just looked at him too in silence .

"..."

Alright ! This hotel is not only the strange thing here ! .

Suddenly the phone rang !

Ring ! Ring !

Everyone immediately looked at the reception desk in silence .

Marcel said after a second

"I will go ...."

But the tall officer said smilingly

"No need ! You must be very tired from all the work so don't worry I will lend you a hand ! Mark go see it !"

Marcel acted very surprised and just smiled outside but inside he was cursing him .

Damm! This idiot still thinks I may be the killer ! For fu*k sake Im the most normal person here yet you are suspicious of me ?

F*ck you man ! F*ck that greedy Charles ! F*ck These hotel !

I will definitely die one day in these hotel !

But outside he thanked repeatedly.

At receptionist desk,

Ring ! Ring !

Mark immediately went to the receptionist desk . The phone was still ringing so he received the call .

"Hello !"

He calmly said but from the other side a scream was heard .

Hearing the scream closely Mark felt like his ear would explode !

F*ck ! My ears !
