"They're late." A middle aged man with a rough face, sitting in the drivers seat of an off-road truck parked on a small hill, commented as he looked from the rusted pocket watch in his palm, to the train tracks up ahead.
The teenage girl with messy black hair sitting on the passengers seat of the off-road truck sniffed and silently looked down at the pocket watch bounded to her wrist by a thin rusted chain, then looked up ahead just as a train's horn sounded from a distance.
The girl picked up the rifle laying on her laps and lifted it's cock, as the middle aged man with the rough face twisted the key in the ignition and stepped down on the accelerator.
The off-road truck got to the train tracks just as the train arrived, and drifted to the side in order to be moving in the same direction as the train--which was a few feets away to the side, from the left wing.
"Aria, coming up behind, keep'em busy!" A black haired teenage boy on the passengers seat of another off-road truck speeding towards the train from the left wing, said into the transceiver in his hand.
"Hold on!" The blonde haired young man driving the off-road truck called out as he stepped down on the accelerator.
Aria, the messy black haired girl in the off-road truck closely following the train from the left wing, heard the voice of her colleague coming from the truck's transceiver, and smiled mischievously.
She stood up through the skyroof of the truck, and shot at the train's Captains who were staring at her surprise from the control station. Then sat back down as she chuckled in amusement along with the middle aged man driving.
"Call'em in!" The Captain driving the train screamed to his copilot as they both crouched low in panic.
"Transport 0-1-9 we've got trouble in the rail line! Squad 23, send backup! Send backup!" The copilot quickly grabbed a transceiver and reported with an urgent tone.
"Roger that, on our way!" Replied a voice from the transceiver.
The off-road truck coming from the left wing, drove on to the railway from behind the speeding train, and began driving towards it.
"This is crazy, Kyle!" The blonde haired young man driving, exclaimed to the black haired boy on the passengers seat, as he tried steady the truck's wheels on the rail line.
Armed men in black uniforms began marching out from one of the train's car, and opened fire with their rifles, at the off-road truck Aria was in. While Kyle in the off-road truck driving on the railway behind, hastily climbed on to the bonnet through the door-less passengers doorway, and grabbed a heavy hook laying there with a long chain connected to the front bumper.
"Get closer!" Kyle screamed out to Leo--the blonde haired young man driving, as he readied the hook.
Leo stepped down on the accelerator, careful not to go too fast as the truck's wheels were imbalanced on the rail line. As the car got close enough, Kyle quickly flung the hook at one of the ladder bars on the train, and jumped on to one of the ladders.
"Come on, Leo!" Kyle called out as he looked behind at Leo who hastily climbed on to bonnet with a hand still steadying steering wheel.
Leo released his grip on the steering wheel and was about to make a jump for the train's ladder, when the front left tire of the truck blew up, and he tripped and almost fell off the bonnet, but didn't as he quickly grabbed on to something.
"Leo!" Kyle screamed out in panic.
Leo pulled himself together and staggered to his feet, then readied himself for another jump attempt, but hesitated.
"Jump!" Kyle screamed out to him, as he noticed the hook's chain breaking apart.
Kyle's scream brought Leo back to reality and without a second thought, he jumped just as the hook's chain broke off, and the vehicle flipped and got lost in the cloud of dust behind.
Kyle hooked an arm around one of the ladder's bar he was on, and with all the strength he could muster, he used his other hand to help Leo---who was holding on to a ladder's bar with his legs trailing behind on the trailway, up on the train's ladder.
"Shit!" Leo exclaimed with heavy pants as he looked back at the truck now overturned in the distance.
"Let's go!" Kyle called out as he began climbing up the ladders.
"Hey!" Leo called out, pointing to a familiar airship heading towards the train from behind, "Berg!"
"0-1-9 this is squad 25, you've taken on orders at the rear, we're engaging the truck now." The pilot in the airship--Berg said into his headphones as he pulled some levers above him to activate the airship's assault weapons.
"Hey, Aria! You've got company!" Kyle quickly said into his transceiver.
"Go! Go! Go!..." Aria urged John--the middle aged man driving, when she looked behind and saw the Berg closing in on their truck.
"Open fire!" The pilot ordered his copilots, and they all directed the ship's guns towards the speeding truck below and opened fire.
"Holy shit!" John cussed as he tried to maneuver the barrage of the explosive bullets which were raising clouds of dust all around, and seeing the trucks bullet proof materials getting pierced through, he drifted to the side, away from the train.
"Kyle! You're on your own, don't die!" Aria said into the truck's transceiver as their truck deviated the path, with the Berg still in pursuit.
"Good luck!" Kyle replied. "We gotta move, come on!" He turned and said to Leo, and they both began climbing up the ladder hurriedly.
They got to the top and began running forward on the roof, leaping over the wide gaps in-between the train cars skillfully, but halted at the sight of a squad of armed men in uniform, running towards them from up ahead.
Leo quickly lowered himself down to the corridor in-between two train cars, and beckoned for Kyle who threw down his handbag to him, and lowered himself down as well.
Leo took out the explosives in the handbag, and began stuffing them into the gaps of the gear connecting the corridor to the train car behind. While Kyle pulled out a pistol stuck in his belt and aimed for the armed men who were arriving at the edge of the train car ahead.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"Leo!" Kyle urged as he shot at the armed men who were shooting at him from above.
"We're set! Take cover!" Leo screamed out as he lighted the explosives wires he had entwined together, then quickly jumped on to a ladder on the sides of the train car behind, with Kyle following suite.
The armed men ignorant about the explosives, jumped down to the corridor and began approaching the train car Kyle and Leo were taking cover at, still shooting at them.
Boom!
The explosives detonated, destroying the gear connecting the train cars behind to the corridor connected to the train cars ahead, and blowing the armed men close the explosives away.
Screech!
The train cars behind which were now severed from the control station, violently screeched to a halt with Kyle and Leo hanging on tightly to the ladder bars.
