Azuri (6)

That commanding "stop" crippled not just Azuri's ability to move, but any thoughts to think, to breath, to do anything. The Oni mask still whispered, focused on it's objective, but it's voice was now distant to Azuri.

It was like she was submerged in the bottom of the water, and someone on the surface was screaming her name, but no matter how she tried her best to listen the only she could afford to focus on, was drowning.

That's what it felt like to Azuri, she was suffocating but she wasn't suffering, in fact she chased after that sweet release of death, just for the silence it brought, for the peace it provided.

It let her runaway from the things, she had done. Even though they were only a distant echoes at that time she had heard their screams of those who had clang to life as she broke them apart and absorbed into their bodies and soul.
