Mated at First Sight

Mu Lin was unaware that, at the very moment she leaped down from the tree, a person walked into the Monitoring Room, where Ling Qi was standing.


"What's the matter, don't trust your little military doctor eh?" Ling Qi heard the sound and looked back. He was startled at first seeing someone suddenly shadowing him and then he teased.


The person nodded, "Yeah, I'm not sure."


Ling Qi choked for a moment, he really shouldn't have been so kind-hearted to greet him first. He snorted coldly, not wanting to talk to him right now, but to his surprise, the other person didn't seem to want to continue the conversation either.


His gaze was fixed on the slender figure on the screen, his eyes gradually softening.


It seemed like she was doing well here. Jing Chen was still somewhat worried after sending her to this place; he was afraid that her frail body couldn't take it, and that she might leave if anything upset her. Strangely enough, he did not want her to leave just like that.
