Making poison, studying poison, and playing with poison is her hobby and fascination.
Saving people, killing people, and torturing people - those are considered her virtues and ethics.
Indeed, she is a doctor - a term that might be more appropriately shortened to... physician!

Soon after, Deputy Chief Zhang approached Mu Lin again. "Thanks for handling that earlier problem, Doctor Mu," she said, referring to the potentially poisonous incident Mu Lin had just stopped. Without Mu Lin, they might have been poisoned. Deputy Chief Zhang wanted to ask Mu Lin if she could remedy the poison. If she could, they wouldn't have to be afraid anymore.


But on second thought, she decided not to ask.


It was too bad that ordinary people did not understand that procuring the services of a Poison Doctor was expensive unless the doctor found them likable. Nevertheless, out of respect for Ren Laifeng, Mu Lin might help out, like she just had.


After all, if Mu Lin didn't like someone and they were poisoned, she wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
