Initially, I assumed we would feel awkward, sitting across from each other in silence. But how we're here, it's not so bad. It's as if we've achieved some unspoken understanding, choosing not to speak.
"When is your wedding going to be?" Luo Ai'ai asked out of the blue, as Xia Liyou focused on enjoying her piece of tiramisu.
Xia Liyou looked at her, licking the corners of her mouth to make sure there was no cream there before flashing her dazzling teeth, "It's not set in stone yet. Why? Are you thinking of attending?"
"I didn't say I'm coming." Luo Ai'ai immediately refused without hesitation.
The more she behaved like this, the more it seemed she was insecure.
A glint of mischief flickered in Xia Liyou's eyes before she languidly sipped her coffee. The slightly bitter and creamy taste was rather enticing.
"However, I'd like you to be there. After all, you're pretty famous. Having you at my wedding would certainly add a touch of glamour," Xia Liyou teased casually.
