*Matthew's POV*
Old park north side of town.
It didn't look like much and it was easy to tell right off the bat that I was the only one there.
Where could Brett be?
I checked my watch for at least the tenth time. As soon as I had gotten off the phone with Brett, I had rushed to our meeting location. Even though he said thirty minutes, I just couldn't sit still, no matter how hard I tried.
But it had been longer than thirty minutes now.
So here I was, drumming my hands against the steering wheel once more. The nerves and my tension were coming out all at once and I didn't know how to control them any other way. The tapping was somehow soothing and I took another deep breath.
But nothing would calm me down until I saw Trinity again.
