Chapter 3: Twilight City

NecroPriest stood within his halls along with his administrator, " so tell me our current situation" he asked him " Yes my Lord, currently our village is at the lowest possible point at this stage we are just a settlement, we lack defences and at most have supplies that would only last us a week or two. We are currently under the protection of the gods and can't be attacked for at least a month, so I would suggest training up some troops and setting out to exploring our surroundings and also marking out workspace to gather resources" the administrator answered " alright then how do I train troops? " he asked further " you can train troops by going to the barracks and selecting the amount you wish to train, in order to train troops you require coins, please do note my Lord that you can only train troops that are associated with the profession granted to you by the gods and only an amount which the troop camp can hold". "Alright then you may leave that would be all" he replied the to administrator. Walking out of the hall once more he looked around at what was supposed to be his territory where only he ruled and looked forward to what the future had in store for him and his territory. He walked towards the barracks and saw that it was made up of two different types of buildings one was an open space filled with tomb stones and the other was a temple like building, he concluded that this must be as a result of his main and sub classes (Necromancer and Priest) when he got closer the graveyard had a faint dark glow about it but the temple remained as it was like a regular building. He brought up the information about the barracks and saw

**BuildingStats**

- Name: Barracks

- HP (Hit Points): 300

**Additional Information**

This barracks can train two types of troops; Dark and Light troops, the second part is currently locked as the requirements have not been reached. Upgrade the barracks to unlock powerful troops.

**Trainable Troops**

Skeleton swordsman - training time: 3s

Skeleton archer - training time: 5s

**Camp capacity**

0/50

- Train - Close

He chose 30 SSM and 20 Sas

Clicking the train option the glow around the graveyard became darker and the sounds of bones rattling could be heard as skeletons came out of the ground beneath them each heading towards a shack at the edge of the graveyard and picking up a rusted sword from the pile of weapons there then proceeded to the troop camp, when the Swordsmen had all been trained up the same process repeated itself for the archers which chose a worn out bow from the pile. When all 50 had been trained, the glow faded and returned to it's original form. The passing residents all stopped to marvel at the wonder taking place before them, how the dead could be raised to serve as soldiers, they all took it as the power granted to their lord by the gods, what this meant to them was that none of them would have to lose their lives in service of their lord.

With the training of troops finished, he left the barracks and proceeded to the center of the settlement and looked at the current stats

**Settlement Status**

- Settlement Name: NecroPriest's Domain[can be changed via town hall panel]

- Settlement Level: 1 [Settlement]

- Population: 50

- Settlement Power: 50 [+150]

He realised that the +150 came from the troops he just trained, not liking the name of his future empire he set out for the town hall, returned to the great hall and went to the control panel there and clicking on the name change option put in his name of choice and a screen popped up

**Do you wish to change your settlement name to Twilight City? This action cannot be undone**

- Yes - No

He clicked on yes and immediately a glow covered the town hall and a name appeared on the front wall of the hall which read Twilight City.

Satisfied with his work and seeing as night was approaching he retired to his bedroom and then remembered that he wasn't the only one that arrived in this world opening his interface he saw 3 options

*World Chat* *Trade Channel* *Leaderboard*

With the last two options locked he opened the world chat, what greeted him was the sight of millions of people talking about their experiences outside their territories and others lamenting how low their resources was on the first day already.

This made him even more determined to explore the area around his territory, closing his interface he fell asleep.
